Good by not Great
Revisado: 03-04-25
It was an interesting story. I thought it was slow at times, and I think it gave to much detail in some areas, and too little detail in others.

Let me tell you what I thought
Revisado: 02-05-25
Before I explain what I thought, let me just tell you right now, that I thought, and well as I think about what I thought, let me just say that as I think about it and feel the keys on this keyboard, and I look to the right, then I look to the left and I ponder the universe of what thoughts must be like, as the pedals of the thoughts think of all the beauty of how the thoughts must have been in past years. However what I really thought about the book goes along the lines of concentrating about who or why the universe must have a plan for all the beauty of the world, and therefore what I thought of the book was that the writing style must have had a great deal of time to think about how to arrive at an opinion and if you really want to know what I thought of the book, well just pause and think about all the beauty of all the mountains as they seem to quietly whisper their power, and also their weakness, yet in the weakness comes the real power of the thought.

Historia
Eden was always good at being good. Starting high school didn’t change who she was. But the night her brother’s best friend rapes her, Eden’s world capsizes. What was once simple, is now complex. What Eden once loved—who she once loved—she now hates. What she thought she knew to be true, is now lies. Nothing makes sense anymore, and she knows she’s supposed to tell someone what happened but she can’t. So she buries it instead. And she buries the way she used to be.

Great Read
Revisado: 01-21-25
I agree with the other reviews, it's a great read. I think at some point you have to allow the main character to tell her truth, as far as the literary structure goes, it seems like it began to have a started a good 3rd act or conclusion, but the author seemed to start the cliff hanger, and then pull her back up only to create a new cliff hanger, and then start over again.

Excellent Start and Almost Awesome
Revisado: 05-13-24
I love the concept of Time Travel and the Multiverse, and it is hard to write these kinds of stories. So Kudos to the author for doing a great job. HOWEVER. The story got to the second act and was on this awesome flight, and then it just hurry and wrapped up. You know how Stephen King books tend to be excellent throughout and then just fail at the end, well this was not this book, but it almost was. The Narrator sounded just like Walter White, so it was hard not to see Walter going through all this.

Could not look away from the Train Crashing
Revisado: 02-12-24
So the story was excellent, in that it kept me listening, and wanting to take longer breaks at work to keep listening, however as we got toward the end, it started to get a little "really? that is the direction you are going?"
The Ending was more disturbing for me that it was shocking, but I could it happening in real life. I suppose there are that many people out there that are so clueless that the ending could happen.
So yeah, use one of your credits, you will like it.

Historia
Toby Fleishman thought he knew what to expect when he and his wife of almost fifteen years separated: weekends and every other holiday with the kids, some residual bitterness, the occasional moment of tension in their co-parenting negotiations. He could not have predicted that one day, in the middle of his summer of sexual emancipation, Rachel would just drop their two children off at his place and simply not return. He had been working so hard to find equilibrium in his single life. The winds of his optimism, long dormant, had finally begun to pick up. Now this.

Was this Book Mocking East Coast Liberals?
Revisado: 12-15-22
Ok, so the story line was interesting, and I suspect every stereotype about the NY and the east coast in general was used in this book, but that said the story is interesting, and it can show what does happen when 2 emotionally damaged people try to be married and then emotionally damaging their kids and their co workers and everyone around them. It's almost like the characters wanted to be complete jerks and literally loved pain and hurting others.

Revisado: 12-30-21
I recommend anyone and everyone listen to this book, it is very eye opening. The Biden's are far from a blue collar family just there for the working family, and it is shocking to see how much the media provided cover for Hunter.
