Neil Dudgeon brings the story to life!
Revisado: 04-01-25
I liked the stories and for me, the big suspense is wondering when and if Jack and Sara will deepen their friendship! Neil Dudgeon animates the characters and brings the stories to life with his performance. He is the BEST!!

Historia
A visit to the local village fete for a spot of fun and relaxation turns into a nightmare for Agatha Raisin when she discovers the body of the local landowner in the woods with an arrow in his chest and trousers round his ankles. Agatha’s old adversary, Detective Chief Inspector Wilkes, declares the death a tragic accident, believing the victim has been hit by a stray arrow from an archery demonstration. Agatha is convinced of foul play, however, and is shocked when Wilkes eventually agrees … with her as his prime murder suspect.

Historia
In 1993, David Koresh and a band of heavily armed evangelical Christians took on the might of the US government. A two-month siege of their compound in Waco, Texas, ended in a firefight that killed seventy-six, including twenty-five children. America is still picking up the pieces, and we still haven't heard the full story.

Quite a Revelation!
Revisado: 02-20-23
This book really explained what happened at Waco, what lead up to it and most revealing: how it continues to affect our nation in terms of the growth of militia groups and dissension in our politics. As someone who lives inside the Beltway, this book was a revelation!

Historia
When Michael Fanone self-deployed to the Capitol on January 6, 2021, he had no idea his life was about to change. When he got to the front of the line, he urged his fellow officers to hold it against the growing crowd of insurrectionists—until he found himself pulled into the mob, tased until he had a heart attack, and viciously beaten with a Blue Lives Matter flag as shouts to kill him rang out. Now, Fanone is ready to tell the full story of that infamous day, along with exploring our country’s most critical issues as someone who has had firsthand experience with many of them.

Riveting
Revisado: 10-14-22
A remarkable on-the-ground account of the January 6 2021 attack on our Capitol. Officer Fanone shares how he and other heroic MPD officers came to be involved in repelling the attack that day and the price they paid for their dedication. The description of the brutal situation in the Capitol tunnel was to me especially harrowing. The crushing claustrophobia and panic was quelled by officers focusing on duty, on holding the line.

Historia
Julian Fellowes's Belgravia is the story of a secret. A secret that unravels behind the porticoed doors of London's grandest postcode. Set in the 1840s, when the upper echelons of society began to rub shoulders with the emerging industrial nouveau riche, Belgravia is peopled by a rich cast of characters. But the story begins on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. At the Duchess of Richmond's new legendary ball, one family's life will change forever.

Captivating!
Revisado: 12-16-18
I could hardly stop listening to “Belgravia” it was such an exciting tale and the narrator, Juliet Stevenson, did an excellent job rendering each character’s voice. If you enjoyed Downton Abbey this is for you!
