Historia
Trauma is a fact of life. Veterans and their families deal with the painful aftermath of combat; one in five Americans has been molested; one in four grew up with alcoholics; one in three couples have engaged in physical violence. Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, one of the world’s foremost experts on trauma, has spent more than three decades working with survivors. In The Body Keeps the Score, he uses recent scientific advances to show how trauma literally reshapes both body and brain, compromising sufferers’ capacities for pleasure, engagement, self-control, and trust.

Best Book I Have Ever Read
Revisado: 05-16-24
This book is awesome. The best book I have ever read. I listened through the entire book on audible and I am about to listen to it again. Also, I am going to purchase the physical book to highlight and make notations. I will read and listen to this books many more times. Definitely worth purchasing.

Mirror of Myself
Revisado: 04-10-22
I so much appreciate listening to “Forgiving What You Can’t Forget” so much of my hurt and pain seems to mirror your struggles of hurt and pain. The pain and hurt you felt and how when you thought you were over feeling so much of the hurt and pain it only took one small thing to trigger you and bring it all back as if it never left and it all just started. My pain seems to have a choke hold on my heart squeezing the life out of me. But I want to thank you and most importantly thank God for leading me to listen to your audio. To know that someone not only understands my struggle through so much pain, hurt, discomfort, and to have felt what I am now feeling and to know that you have been able to come out victoriously gives me hope. Thank you!
