The book is basically propaganda and no entertainment. . So many chapters start with a reference to some Palestinian terrorist attack and not a single mentioning of Israeli violence. I would not be surprised to learn that the book was financed by the Israeli military.

Entertaining and inspiring

One of the best book in the series. The book discusses some of the hottest topics in India, cast, marriage, corruption, foreign exploitation. But it is also entertaining and fun.

Storia interessante, terribile produzione.

Il libro ha il merito di discutere un processo in Italia senza scimmiottare un court drama all’americana. L’autore legge il libro, e non fa un buon lavoro. La lettura è monotona e dilettantesca. La produzione è orribile. Alla fine di ogni capitolo, con voce squillante e senza pausa, l’autore grida il numero del capitolo successivo e continua la lettura. Un gruppo di liceali avrebbe fatto una produzione migliore.

The story is pretty fun. The characters are enjoyable. The conversation of those who falll in love in the book are too realistic. They might be great for the protagonists, but boring for those who just listen to them.

This book takes the premise of Silence of the Lambs, splits the genial, serial killer in 2, makes the relationship between the investigator and the killers legal and makes the entire story implausible. I recommend the book only if you are a woman going though a bad divorce.

As boring as being at a real wedding

This is a bad soap opera. The characters are jokes: the posh crowd, the boy that doesn’t fit, the absent father, the crazy sister etc. if going to weddings is your thing, go for it. If the idea of fake people having idle conversations bores you to death, stay as far away from this book as you cam.

Enjoyable but nothing more

The parallel narration helps because neither story is great. The characters are skin deep and the little town is even more so. The art story idea is the redeeming factor

Boring propaganda

Politicians are corrupt, policemen are heroes, transparency is evil, women are minor characters in this bring puzzle of boring sentences. This hot pile of non sense is read aloud with emphatic lack of irony and cruel disregard for the plausible. Shot by a bullet in the head? Mee, you will come out ok. Irish policemen, Italians and exactly what you expect for a book straight from the discount bean of the 1950s.

Banal

The story is highly predictable despite its attempt to be surprising. Th narrative device used is ridiculous, but I won't comment not to provide spoilers that would further make the book unbearable. It is a story about banal marital infidelities and the fantasies of the low middle class dressed in thriller's clothes. It is as exciting as earring the gossip about the sexual indiscretions of Amanda from the mailroom.

This book is very entertaining: it combines elements of an investigation story, a court drama, and even some of a spy story without looking like a fruit salad.
