I forced myself to finish

first, the narration was dismal, it sounded like she had never read the book before trying to act the characters and .the characters all sound alike.
the story itself, feels drawn out, too much back and forth from first person to third person narration. and the story is very disjointed.
I had to make myself finish the book and now I have to force myself to listen to the third book because I can't leave the story unfinished.

I wish the description of this book had included that it is almost a scene by scene retelling of book 1, albeit from Thomas and Amelia's perspective. I did appreciate delving into Thomas and Amelia's characters, but I feel thar this could have been done under one title rather than 2 books. The performance is flawless as always. This book just misses the mark for me.

I normally love Nora Robert's but I couldn't bear listening to this narrator. she sounds like a computer generated voice with poor inflection.
