Historia
How do you respond to anger - in yourself or others? Do you fight fire with fire, or run for cover? Dr. Christian Conte created Yield Theory™ as a way to meet conflict without aggression or submissiveness through the practice of compassionate listening, de-escalation, and genuine communication. With Walking Through Anger, he shares this revolutionary model for dealing with inflamed emotions in even the most difficult and charged situations.

Incredibly helpful and engaging cover to cover
Revisado: 08-30-23
I have been a follower of Dr. Conte for a while. I have listened to most of his youtube videos and I love his approach, analogy, and down to earth way of relating and speaking. This book is about so much more than anger and provides an incredible roadmap to learn how to live a more peaceful life in the moment. He incorporates many teachings from Daoism, Buddhism and others as well as his incredible experience being a therapist for decades at maximum security prisons. I cannot speak highly enough about him and I am thankful for how his approach and teachings have been transformative in my life. I am still 'practicing' as he would say, but I hope over time that his teachings will become a lifestyle and not as intentional as I begin this journey. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It is absolutely NOT boring and I am on my second read and will continue to re-read to absorb. Thanks Dr. Conte!!!! Back To you I wish .. Much Peace!

Great for Guys in learning Validation
Revisado: 08-10-23
I am a seasoned IT guy of 30+ years and tend to be very analytical and blunt/direct. Over the past 20 yrs I have had many many marriage difficulties because my wife needs validation and I have not understood how or what that looks like to her. I I came across this and blew thru the audio book. Michael is very easy to listen to, straightforward, and gives great real-world and easy to understand ways to learn validation. For a long time I felt hopeless because I figured I was just flawed and unfixable. But after hearing the book I feel it is something I can actually learn to practice and possibly improve on. It has already made a tremendous difference in my marriage and I am going to re-listen multiple times so that I can try to become better at validation.
