Historia
Before Owen Michaels disappears, he smuggles a note to his beloved wife of one year: Protect her. Despite her confusion and fear, Hannah Hall knows exactly to whom the note refers—Owen’s sixteen-year-old daughter, Bailey. Bailey, who lost her mother tragically as a child. Bailey, who wants absolutely nothing to do with her new stepmother. As Hannah’s increasingly desperate calls to Owen go unanswered, as the FBI arrests Owen’s boss, as a US marshal and federal agents arrive at her Sausalito home unannounced, Hannah quickly realizes her husband isn’t who he said he was.

Great Story with a Questionable Ending
Revisado: 05-22-23
The first 75% of the story was great! There was suspense, drama and the right amount of angst to keep things moving forward. The last 25% of the story was lacking and felt a little forced.

So Whiny
Revisado: 06-20-19
I can’t get through this book. It is written and read with whiny tones. I understand motherhood can hard. But, really! What I suppose the writer views as self-deprecating humor simply comes off as a lot of poor me my life is so hard sentimentality. The book may get better. However, I will never know. I simply can’t bear to listen to this book beyond chapter 3.

Unexpectedly Bad
Revisado: 03-20-18
I have listened to all the books in the original series and really enjoyed them. There are a several issues with this book. The narrator is terrible. The men’s voices are off, Sky voice is whiny and pitchy and the name of one of many characters is consistently mispronounced.
There are leaps from the last book in the old series that don’t translate to this series. And, I’m sick to death of Wally whining about Simon. Sadly that stayed the same from the original series. Lastly, the story wasn’t very good. I will probably return this book it was so bad.

Revisado: 07-04-16
I remember watching the television show all Creatures Great and Small with my grandmother when I was a little girl. This book evokes all the wonderful imagery and delightful stories I remember watching with her. Plus there are some new stories that I don't remember. I would highly recommend this book it is a timeless classic.

Family Secrets Aplenty
Revisado: 04-20-16
On her honeymoon with Daniel, Molly stumbles into another mystery (two mysteries actually). This book was a pleasant surprise. While I always enjoy the Molly Murphy mysteries the last couple have been a little repetitive. This book was a breath of fresh air. Out of New York and ready for a peaceful honeymoon Molly and Daniel become entangled with a family hiding more than a few skeletons in their closet. Molly in her typical head strong straight forward fashion is on the case to figure out who done it.

Historia
Molly Murphy - now Molly Sullivan - is a year into her marriage, expecting her first child, and confined to the life of a housewife. She’s restless and irritable in the enforced idleness of pregnancy and the heat of a New York summer in 1905. So when a trip to the post office brings a letter addressed to her old detective agency asking her to locate a missing Irish serving maid, Molly figures it couldn’t hurt to at least ask around, despite her promise to Daniel to give up her old career as a detective. On the same day, Molly learns that five babies have been kidnapped in the past month.

Revisado: 04-20-16
I truly enjoy the Molly Murphy series. I was afraid that when Molly married Daniel the books would become stale and boring. However, two books into marriage Molly is still solving mysteries and as good as ever.

Twisted in Ways You Won't See Coming
Revisado: 02-20-15
Circle of Influence is an outstanding murder mystery with twists and turns aplenty. The book is well written with believable characters. There where characters I rooted for and characters I hoped would come to a bad end. The police and detectives where intelligently written as was Zoe the heroine.

Entertaing but Predictable
Revisado: 02-18-15
I generally enjoy the Enchanted Inc. Books. However, the ending to this book was predictable. Since, MSI defeated Phelan Idris and his cohorts in the last book it led to a thin story line in this book. None-the-less the story was entertaining and if you have listened to the other books in this series I would recommend it.

Disappointing from Start to Finish
Revisado: 07-14-13
This book was nothing like the original. It should not have been called "Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns." The devil barely featured into this book and honestly was mostly about drama in Andy's personal life. The book really should have been titled "A Bad Marriage and Unrequited Love." An awful book don't waste your time, money or credits.

Not So Riveting
Revisado: 06-11-12
“As The Pig Turns” was an okay book. There were twists and turns aplenty yet somehow the story was a bit flat and somewhat predictable.
