Historia
It’s been a decade since Trumanell Branson disappeared, leaving only a bloody handprint behind. Her pretty face still hangs like a watchful queen on the posters on the walls of the town’s Baptist church, the police station, and in the high school. They all promise the same thing: We will find you. Meanwhile, Tru's brother, Wyatt, lives as a pariah in the desolation of the old family house, cleared of wrongdoing by the police but tried and sentenced in the court of public opinion and in a new documentary about the crime.

Good but a little slow.
Revisado: 03-14-23
This was a good book, I enjoyed the characters. Really slow starting and then seemed to finish abruptly.

Historia
When Tara Peary’s twin sister Sophie goes missing, Tara dives into New York’s underbelly to find her. Sophie is the one person who’s ever truly understood her, and Tara knows her sister isn’t the only one who needs help. Tara is also on the run emotionally from her complicated childhood. Her memories are threatening to derail the hunt for Sophie. A psychotherapist keeps her afloat, but then Tara begins dating her therapist’s young tech-millionaire neighbor. The more she uncovers about her the dark side of the rich elite, the less certain of the truth she becomes.

Until We Are Lost
Revisado: 04-09-21
This was a well-written, creative piece of writing. As someone who has experience with this subject matter, I find it to be accurate and supports the brilliant mind that is able to cope with painful and repeated abuse. I love that the therapists and friends were so helpful and understanding. I have to say that has not been my experience, but it is fiction.
I would love to read more from this author.
