Historia
Ulysses S. Grant's life has typically been misunderstood. All too often he is caricatured as a chronic loser and an inept businessman or as the triumphant but brutal Union general of the Civil War. But these stereotypes don't come close to capturing him, as Chernow reveals in his masterful biography, the first to provide a complete understanding of the general and president whose fortunes rose and fell with dizzying speed and frequency.

The best presidential biography I have ever read
Revisado: 07-17-23
There is no way to express how significant impact Ulysses S Grant made on American history. I placed him behind Washington and Lincoln as our greatest president. Certainly, at the time of his death that was the conventional wisdom. This autobiography which coverage from his early life, through the Civil War, his presidency, his international travels, his business failures, personal tragedies, straight through his death, is incredibly inclusive and insightful,
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a full appreciation for the reconstruction era. Also, Grant’s worldwide tour following his presidency, sets, the standard for American diplomacy by a former president.
At his death with union and confederate people and soldiers and African-Americans, morning him is a testament to his commitment to our country

Inspiring and practical
Revisado: 02-16-23
I truly loved the book! Dee Robinson’s 11 Commandments bring about a very practical roadmap for anyone to follow. What makes it especially wonderful is the candor in which she shares her personal story, her challenges, her fears and concerns as a validation for what’s possible for anyone who chooses to follow these commandments. Congratulations on a great guide success!

One of the most consequential books I have ever read.
Revisado: 01-02-22
Play bringing the elements of neuroscience and neurochemistry into the process of self-improvement this book provides a comprehensive perspective on something that everybody turns to want to do which is to become better or improved out something. It breaks it all down and inspires you to take the actions necessary and to be incredibly aware of when you are not doing what you have professed that you want to do. I describe this as the no excuses approach to personal development.
