Historia
When the cultivators came to Earth, they destroyed our entire civilization in a matter of hours. Armies fell, cities burned, and that was before the moon turned red and filled our world with monsters. Now, over a decade later, what's left of humanity slaves under the heels of our Qi-infused masters. The luckiest of us might even become one of them, they say—if we serve the Dynasty well enough and harness the power of Qi. But I want none of that. I'm sick of serving, and I want nothing to do with their world. Instead, I want them to pay for what they did to mine.

Just Wow!
Revisado: 01-20-24
All the way through this book I couldn't stop rooting for Chun (Max). The narration made him become this bigger than life character that had to deal with every horrid thing that can happen to a man and still be himself but better. Fantastic work overall 👏 I am looking forward to book two!!!!!!

Historia
It is said by some that the Spellmonger’s exile to the Magelaw left Sevendor, the City of Magic, unprotected in his absence. That would be untrue, for though the mightiest mage of the era was forced by law and custom to refrain from visiting his realm in Castal, he left behind a significant body of learned and dedicated colleagues to continue his policies and see to the protection of the magelands. These were not all warmagi, nor even High Magi; indeed, the strength of Sevendor depended on magi of all types and descriptions.

Another Great Anthology
Revisado: 04-22-21
Terry Mancour continues to impress with these anthologies between mainline books. My only complaint is that they don’t last long enough. I admire his world building ability as Calidor increases to grow. This is a must listen for the series.

Things are looking up for Jax, more or less. He's met a cool girl (who's a wisp), got some new friends (who're Dwarves and Cat people and Elves and all sorts), and started a war.... (Whoops!) Only thing is, they say an Englishman's home is his castle, and Jax's home is in ruins...this place isn't going to be any use in defending his new people unless he gets it sorted, and fast!

eloquent description of all the fights and in general very vivid! I am however not great at writing and this series makes me want to try my hand at world crafting. Loved the world you created and I can't wait for more.

Old Man Vincent is heading for the top of the World-Tree and beyond in the final installment of the World-Tree Trilogy. To get there, he's going to have to overcome titan-sized bosses, strange new worlds, an army of angels, and a seemingly invincible final boss. And yes, he's looking forward to the challenge.

Revisado: 01-28-21
This series is a masterpiece. I can’t tell you how many times I was brought to tears relating myself to Vincent and how I’d feel in his shoes. This one was a hell of a ride. You have to hear this. In addition Soundbooth is one of the best companies for audio books period.

Historia
Morgan Mackenzie had a very bad day. First at work, then at home, and then her bathtub fell through a portal to another world, with her in it. Now she's stuck thousands of miles from any sort of civilization with nothing but the bathtub and a lace puffball scrubby. But she learned magic, so that's sorta nice. Now if only she could find some clothes....

I’m looking forward to the second book. As far as Isekais go this one was pretty good. As always the main character is over powered but the price for her power is... interesting. Nonetheless great story telling and the world is very well thought out. Looking forward to being immersed again.

Historia
When Minalan the Spellmonger was exiled from his beloved mageland of Sevendor by Prince Tavard, his friend Duke Anguin made him Count Palatine of the Magelaw, a vast realm in the Alshari Wilderlands that Minalan is all too familiar with. After the goblin invasion, the province is devastated, ruined, and peopled almost only by freed slaves. But Minalan has brought his recovering wife and family into exile with him, and he views their impoverished fief as an opportunity to build a new City of Magi in the wilderness.

Revisado: 05-01-20
Wow. What a great book. The performance of this book was second to none. The scoring underneath key points and combat sequences was amazing. You’ll never hear a more immersive audiobook than this, unless of course you count the first book of the trilogy. I can’t wait for book 3 to come to Audible so I can hear the finale and appreciate this wonderful trilogy to the fullest.
Well done.

Shadowmage and Spellmonger’s Yule
Revisado: 12-05-19
This book was very good. In my opinion one of the better books of the series. The narration was as good as ever and the story kept me highly entertained. There are a couple twists I didn’t see coming and the bonus at the end from the spell monger himself was an unexpected delight.

Historia
With the south in full rebellion, the goblins stirring on the northern frontier, and the summer capital being run by a corrupt baron and a gang of thugs, things could be better. But those aren’t the worst of her problems: Pentandra is learning how to live with her new husband, Arborn, while the town is driven to distraction by an incarnate sex goddess who is organizing all of the whores, a mopey spellmonger, a nun addicted to gambling, a prude sent by the queen, undead skulking through the shadows, and a mysterious blind girl shows up in her office claiming to be her new apprentice.

Took a long time to pick up in entertainment. It was pretty interesting the whole book, but I often found my attention slipping. Near the last 8 hours the book gets really good, but that could be because of all the details already covered by Enchanter.
