Historia
Woodward, the number-one international bestselling author of Fear: Trump in the White House, has uncovered the precise moment the president was warned that the Covid-19 epidemic would be the biggest national security threat to his presidency. In dramatic detail, Woodward takes readers into the Oval Office as Trump’s head pops up when he is told in January 2020 that the pandemic could reach the scale of the 1918 Spanish Flu that killed 675,000 Americans.

nought bad for a first novel.

it takes a chapter or too tho get adjusted to the narrator. a little predictable in a Jason Bourne type of story... but i liked it. Super likable characters... reminds me of the movie"Payback"

Historia
After five years on the run, Court Gentry is back on the inside at the CIA. But his first mission makes him wish he had stayed on the outs when a pair of Chinese agents try to take him down in Hong Kong. Normally the Chinese prefer to stay eyes-only on foreign agents. Tired of a great story ... kind of,
Revisado: 04-28-17
so for the fifth time the gray man continues to be surprised at the disengenous CIA, while doing some super human feat. He can overcome anything except the fact that his employer can't be either appreciative, respectful, working to try to support him...well you get the drift. i am starting to worry that I am totally frustrated isnt it hard enough to try to root for the US with the clowns in Washington. Give us a story that is noble. or get a new Jack Reacher out.

Historia
It’s 1996, and Reacher is still in the army. In the morning they give him a medal, and in the afternoon they send him back to school. That night he’s off the grid. Out of sight, out of mind. Two other men are in the classroom—an FBI agent and a CIA analyst. Each is a first-rate operator, each is fresh off a big win, and each is wondering what the hell they are doing there. Then they find out: A Jihadist sleeper cell in Hamburg, Germany, has received an unexpected visitor—a Saudi courier, seeking safe haven while waiting to rendezvous with persons unknown.

something went wrong
Revisado: 01-15-17
I not only struggled, I gave up.
I have read and enjoyed all of the balance of the series. I don't know what went bad, but frankly I just didn't like the characters, the story dragged, I wasn't really following it, not interesting, or I missed something. I know Jack is supposed to be smarter than everyone and not care about social norms, but he just seemed like a dick.
The other possibility is that the Reacher stories have all been told and there aren't untold stories left to tell. I hope not, it has been my favorite fiction for several years. I will look forward to the next installment, and chalk this up to "nobody is perfect" .
