This book was absolutely intriguing from the first line til the last! All I can say is I'm sooOoOO proud of Anita for not killing Granny who deserves to get slapped at least twice! I now understand why Anita was the was in the first few books.

I absolutely LOVED this book. the way Mrs. Davis narrated this story I was able to vividly see the story as it was a movie in my mind. I cried for that little girl who was chased, cheered when she stood up for herself too and ugly cried when her daddy died. It's one of the best autobiographies I've listened to in a long time.

i will say that the series started a little slow but it definitely has picked up. All I can say is I just love Dom! He's courageous, smart, strategic, a true leader and the guy you want leading your team. This series reminds me of the walking dead. Skulls, Goliaths, acid spraying skulls and human marauders all battling for humanity. Very interesting read. Can't wait to listen to book 5.

Nicole always had twist and turns and OMG moments in her books and this one is no different. I listened to this Audible at work and damn near missed lunch because I was so engrossed in the story and totally zoned out. Chloe couldn't see the shade of her bestie Carrie and boy that chick was beyond shady! I can't wait to read part 2! A page turner from beginning to end.

All I can say is when is part 2 coming out or is it out yet because I've got to know what happens next! This has been a drama filled book just like I like em! From the first chapter to the cliff hanger I've been intrigued. I can't wait until Natalie gathers her scorned self, to deal with all her backstabbers, starting with her no good best friend Jermel and saving the best for last, her treacherous, hoebag of a husband Damian! Plenty of twist and turns in this book.
