Historia
"Believing that something is wrong with us is a deep and tenacious suffering," says Tara Brach at the start of this illuminating book. This suffering emerges in crippling self-judgments and conflicts in our relationships, in addictions and perfectionism, in loneliness and overwork - all the forces that keep our lives constricted and unfulfilled. Radical Acceptance offers a path to freedom, including the day-to-day practical guidance developed over Dr. Brach's 20 years of work with therapy clients and Buddhist students.

Contained within Theater of the Imagination are the great universal themes - tales of loss and ressurection, of love and sacrifice; of the courage to survive - yet it is as if Dr. Estes is speaking only to you.

Historia
Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability—the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome—is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity, and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall.

A treasure to listen to. the beginning was very expansive to me I wasn't truelly hooked until I saw it all piecing together about 1/3 of the way in. I feel the way of forgiveness is in this book. I felt deeply moved. Renewed compassion. ability to see thru many struggles (self, others, global) with great strength empathy and hope. I will listen again and take notes as she gives practices, and induvidual thought processes throughout the book.
