Police, maybe?
Revisado: 08-23-24
The victim of this story kept herself a victim. I just don’t understand why she kept in touch with these people! The police should’ve been contacted earlier and she should’ve insisted on help. The story had some interesting things but overall for me, I found this ridiculous.

Where is the rest of the story? I was really disappointed to realize that there were no more episodes after November 2022. I would love to hear what happens. Hopefully they will come out with more new episodes.

For Dee Kwan, every day is the perfect day. No, really. She has a house she loves, a job she adores, and a ridiculously attractive “nemesis” who never seems to mind when she wins their favorite online game. How can life possibly get better? (It can’t, obviously. It can only get much, much worse.) Soon Dee is forced to share her adorably cozy home with her parents and estranged grandmother. Then she’s tossed into the deep end at work, tasked with cleaning up a scandal for the intimidatingly chic luxury fashion firm Celeste. If that weren’t enough, she discovers her hot nemesis works there, too.

Awful
Revisado: 12-08-23
I’ve listened to this author before and loved her books. This one, I could not finish. The storyline was a good one but the story was so drawn out and honestly the parts where the main character and her new boyfriend had their romantic moments EVERY 5 seconds was just a bit much. I was ready for it to move along but it just plodded. When I realized I had already listened to 4+ hours and still had 5 more to go, I was done. Even the fact that it was a free book couldn’t entice me to keep listening. This was a shame because I really wanted to know how it would end up.

Never disappoints!
Revisado: 09-09-18
I am so happy that Keith C Blackmore came out with another Mountain Man story! And what a story it is! As usual with the other books, I was hooked from the beginning. This book gave the background on how Gus ended up where he was in the first of the series.
Full of action and suspense. Even though I have listened to the full series and knew that Gus would make it through, it was still a nail biter.
I would highly recommend this story! I hope that there will be another book out. I plan on re-listening to the rest of the books!

Historia
Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins. The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first Lo's stay is nothing but pleasant: The cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant. But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, and gray skies fall.

Suspenseful story!
Revisado: 11-02-16
There were several reviews that depicted the story as poor. I didn't find this story to be poor. It was very suspenseful. It kept my attention and me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I would listen again. This was definitely a good read.

It's 1998, and for years the old First Bank of Cleveland has sat abandoned, perfectly preserved, its secrets only speculated on by the outside world. Twenty years before, amid strange staff disappearances and allegations of fraud, panicked investors sold Cleveland's largest bank in the middle of the night, locking out customers and employees and thwarting a looming federal investigation. In the confusion that followed, the keys to the vault's safe-deposit boxes were lost.

Good mystery..
Revisado: 09-10-16
I enjoyed this book. It really held my interest until the very end. There were several twists & a few things I didn't see coming. The only thing I found a bit hard to believe was the level of maturity for Beatrice. To handle some of the things that she'd experience in this story was a bit unbelievable for someone as young as she was. Overall, though, it was a good story.
