Historia
Life often looks so very different than we hoped or expected. Some events may simply catch us off guard for a season, but others shatter us completely. We feel disappointed and disillusioned at best and overwhelmed and hopeless at worst. We quietly start to wonder about the reality of God’s goodness and why he allows us to suffer and experience grief and loss. Lysa TerKeurst understands this deeply. But after many tears, godly counseling, and prayerful seeking, she's also discovered that our disappointments can be the divine appointments our souls need to radically encounter God.

Healing in this book!
Revisado: 09-11-19
Loved and appreciated this book. Appreciated that Lysa is the narrator. Appreciated that she shared her private story of heart ache and betrayal.
Appreciated immensely how she shows us how to rethink our own story and walk closely with God.
One take away I'm focusing on the most is what we stare at is what we will stear towards. Thank you Lysa.

Love this Chapman family
Revisado: 01-05-19
The narrator sounded so much like Steven that I kept having to remind myself that it wasnt him. This made the story feel like SCC was telling me his story personaly.
I have been a follower of his music since the early years and to hear about his and Mary Beths lives together was like being close to them.
I am grateful they both shared their story and opened up their personal journey with us.
It definitely ministered to my life and encouraged me to hold on to Jesus .
I also recommend you read Mary Beths book "SEE"
I enjoyed hearing also how SSC musical career grew. Behind the seens .
One of my favorite parts of the story was when they tear down the house and rebuild. It made me so happy for Mary Beth. I could envision Mary Beth finally being healed and able to go foward in life.
I wouldn't have wanted to leave the property either. It would have felt like leaving Maria.
