Slow start, but action builds.

I really wanted to like this story, but I kept starting and stopping several times. I felt that the story's progress was very slow. The characters internalize a lot and I felt that it didn't help move the story along. But, persevere my friends! There is more action and character progression as the story continues. Can't wait to learn what happens next.

Fascinated by Dragon-Shifter Stories

This author and narrator were both new to me.

I found the story interesting and not very predictable. I've only read one other dragon-shifter author, so I didn't know what to expect. I could easily envision the world Ann Gimpel was creating. I found the pace of the narrator, Gregory Salinas, a little slow to my liking but eventually I became accustomed to it.

I knew that this was the first book in a series of three. I don't know why other reviewers stated that this could be read as a standalone. The book ended with a bit of a cliff-hanger, leaving me disappointed. That being said I am looking forward to the next in the series to see what happens next.

Horrible Hawaiian

Sam Crowley was great otherwise, but did the story a disservice with the bad pronunciation. Each mispronunciation of a Hawaiian word/name detracted from the story.

This duet should have been one book.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. So much of Diana's internal thoughts could have been eliminated as they were repeated in her dialog with Adam or in her actions. During Diana's portion of the book, I really felt like I wasted a credit.

If I heard of a friend that really wanted to start this series, I would recommend that she start in the middle of the book. The first half was a waste of time.

What could CD Reiss have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Make this duet one book. It really felt like the author milked the story to make it into two books, therefore getting more $$ from the customer.

Did Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Both Elena and Sebastian did an outstanding job. Sebastian's performance saved the series for me.

Was Separation Games worth the listening time?

No. This is the problem with series going over one book. I'm thankful I started Marriage Games, shortly before Separation Games was available. I didn't have to wait long for the 2nd part of the series.

Good Story, Horrible Listening Experience

What did you like best about I Married a Billionaire: Lost and Found? What did you like least?

I was looking forward to listening to the next installment of Maddie's and Daniel's story. The sound quality of this recording was bad. It sounded like this was recorded in someone's bathroom or under a tin can. To make matters worse, the narrator's interpretation of Daniel's voice was wooden and seemed to lack any depth.
