It just keeps going and so do I. I cannot get enough of Drizzt and his continued saga. All around another great book and continuation of the story of our favorite dark elf.
Book and narration are again spot on. All characters stand out from one another and every listen leaves you wanting more.

Amazing continuation, leaves you wanting more!
Revisado: 03-26-19
R.A. Salvatore continues the original tale of Drizzt in the underdark after being exiled from his homeland. The plot, the hunt, and the new characters are all amazing and vividly come to life by the narrator Victor Bevine. It's an amazing continuation of the first book and leaves you wanting so much more. I cannot wait to pick up and start book 3. I found myself listening to this one at 1.4x speed and found the narration just perfect. A must get if you have already listened to Book 1: Homeland.

The eternal question of nature vs nurture is at the centre of Dr Diane Buckley’s world. A talented freelance forensic psychologist who has never quite found the key to engaging with people on a casual level, she is drafted in to examine a grisly murder – a body found in a children’s playground.

It's OK, not something I would recommend
Revisado: 03-15-19
OK story, decent characters but nothing utterly amazing. I found the "An Audible Original Drama by Jan Smith" repeated between every single 'episode/chapter' highly annoying and unnecessary. Overall, the story was OK with a small twist here and there. I was actually glad it wasn't that long as I was happy for it to end to move on to my next book.

Amazing from start to finish
Revisado: 03-14-19
For any fantasy fan, especially those that have taken part in games of dungeons and dragons and even the MMORPG scene. This book (and series) is a wonderful tale through and through. This, being the first book in the series, unravels the birth of Drizzt, his raising, initial life and training by the weapons master and the academy. It introduces you to his family, the underdark, magic, the politics and ways of the Drow society. There is so much in this one, it's an amazing opener to a series I cannot wait to continue. Narrator was great IMO as well.

Legitimate best seller, still applicable today.
Revisado: 02-12-19
I was extremely sceptical I would not get much out of this one given my past experiences with other "older" best sellers that just had no relevance in today's fast paced world and digital economy.
I have been pleasantly surprised by how well written this book is and how the presentation of each topic is sent across. It's not only still extremely relevant it's super practical and a must read for anyone looking to be a leader.
This is one I may have to listen to again as there is without question a multitude of useful information.

Slightly inspirational, solid story
Revisado: 02-12-19
A good inspirational tale about the various problems people face in life and how to overcome them. Some finding their answer within themselves, others after a short visit with the monk. Many answers simply by getting the escape from everyday life and waiting on line to see the monk at the top of the mountain. A variety of tales all rolled into one well narrated and inspirational audio book.

Historia
With the failure of Hadley's Hope, Weyland-Yutani has suffered a devastating setback - the loss of the Aliens they aggressively sought to exploit. Yet there's a reason the Company has risen to the top of the food chain. True to form, they have a redundancy already in place: the facility known as "The Cold Forge". Remote station RB-232 has become their greatest asset in weaponizing the Xenomorphs. However, when Dorian Sudler is sent to RB-232 to assess their progress, he discovers that there's a spy aboard - someone who doesn't necessarily act in the company's best interests.

Not that great, slow and steady
Revisado: 01-28-19
This was my second Audible Alien listen. This one was night and day way worse than my previous. The story is slow and the plot not very interesting. There is limited action until about 75% into the book and even from there on its just OK. The plot/story is nothing to write home about either.
I did like the main characters but the overall story was just not that good. Parts here and there were cool but overall I would not recommend this one.

Historia
The original 1937 manuscript was written and edited with the assistance of Napoleon’s wife. In later years, the existing document was again edited by Dr. Hill. For example, the Foundation owns a 1958 edition that Hill edited personally. This did not lessen the book’s value in Hill’s judgment. Hill made the editing remarks in his own handwriting and the resulting 1960 edited edition has sold over 100 million copies making it the most read self-help book of all time.

Not very relevant. Just a mindset.
Revisado: 01-25-19
Struggled to finish. Pushed myself to keep listening hoping it would get better or provide something relevant. Never enjoyed any of it much, not happy with the purchase. Only interesting aspect was the stories about some of the successful businessmen of its time. The entire book is about pushing you to be in a mindset you will succeed and be rich no matter what. If you dream, believe and think it, it will come... I don't get how all the reviews push this as such a good book... For 20 years in the making its just ehh... IMO
