Where does Tom Clancy Presents: Act of Valor rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I'm a huge Tom Clancy fan, but this one for me wasn't one of his best.
What other book might you compare Tom Clancy Presents: Act of Valor to and why?
I can't think of any book in particular, just that the ending was predictable.
Have you listened to any of Steven Weber’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I've not listened to Mr. Weber before, but he did an excellent job with this book.

I really enjoyed this series

James Marsters was perfect! At first I thought he was Paul Blackthorne the actor who portrayed Dresden in the tv series. I liked the tv series so much I decided to find the books, and I was not disappointed in the least.

The tv series is actually better

I was quite surprised to find that the tv series is better than the books. Many times a tv series or movie doesn't do justice to the book, but not in this case.

Scott Brick was dull, dull, dull

I have to admit this was the first time I'd ever listened to an audio book of Clive Cussler's. I've been reading his books since the early 80's, and they are always full of action and excitement. I grew up listening to radio shows, and Cussler's books can always be seen in your mind's eye. I was so disappointed in this audio book that I seriously doubt I will buy another Cussler book read by Scott Brick. His women's voices are mediocre. His action scenes are read like he's strolling in a park, no enthusiasm at all. I even fired off an email to Mr. Cussler and got a very nice response from his publicist thanking me for my astute observation.
