This is one of those books in which I find I’m highlighting & underlining constantly!
I love how deeply rooted in Scripture this book is! There are Scriptures throughout to back up the teachings, so I know I’m learning a foundation of Godly motherhood!
Abbie is an excellent narrator! Couldn’t have found a better one. I’ll be re-listening to this frequently!

I thought it was just me… I never liked cleaning because I was equally as afraid of the cleaning products as I was of the germs that I wanted to clean. I thank the author for validating my instinctive concerns. A few years ago I started becoming aware of the toxins in everyday products. This book explains what to watch out for and why, and will help you keep yourself and your loved ones safer. Definitely a must-read! Now I’m going to go purge all the bad products in my home and replace them with safer ones recommended in this book!

Charming, brilliant, and utterly delightful! This book is not just for kids. It’s for anyone with a great imagination, or an imagination that needs some dust blown off of it. I very highly recommend the audiobook in conjunction with reading the book – Gaiman is an exquisite narrator, but you wouldn’t want to miss the delightful illustrations. A refreshing shot of joy!

Very redundant

I have tremendous respect for the author of this book and all other Americans who have served in our military. Thank you for your service in protecting our freedom.
I appreciate the useful gems of advice in this book— make your bed every day, surround yourself with people who care about you, don’t waste time saying “woe is me” or “why me”— just power through it and make the best of things.
Unfortunately, this book is very redundant. The author repeats himself several times. For example, the reader is told twice in the book what a “sugar cookie” is, and then towards the end of the book the author again explains in detail what a sugar cookie is as if we never heard of it before. Same with “circuses”. I think the editor could’ve done a much better job here.
The military insight was enlightening, but there was a lot of very gruesome, upsetting material that I did not enjoy hearing about in such detail.
