female lead needs a good B slap

Upon reading the summary, I decided to read this series. However just a few chapters in and I'm ready to give the females lead a b$tch slap to the face. Holy cow but this women's needs a freaking spine. Yeah she's been traumatized but all she did was wine about it and let everyone else take care of her. I like a good book where the male takes care of the female but not when she's a spineless twit. At about chapter 10, I nearly gave up reading the book because I absolutely couldn't stand her. But I pressed on and finished the 3 book series. I will say it seemed like every other chapter I wanted to reach into the book and give her a good slap across the face.

Overall I'd never recommend this series if you can't stand spineless twit as the lead. Love the narrator, Andi, she does a great job with what she's given.

slow going plus religious

The storyline was slow going dragging on then the religious part started. I was looking for a romance not a book about god.

Narrator ruined book

I could never get into the book due to the narrator. The story seemed to be decent but listening to the narrator made me give up on the book. I might give it a try another time but for now I'll pass.

too much religion

I was looking for a nice romance with military hero's. This book seemed to have all that. The biggest problem was the book had too much religion which seemed to drag the story on lower than necessary. In order to finish this book, I did alot of fast forwarding past the religious parts that could have been left out. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.
