Historia
At 24 years of age, U.S. Army Ranger Sean Parnell was named commander of a forty-man elite infantry platoon - a unit that came to be known as the Outlaws - and was tasked with rooting out Pakistan-based insurgents from a mountain valley along Afghanistan's eastern frontier. Parnell and his men assumed they would be facing a ragtag bunch of civilians, but in May 2006 what started out as a routine patrol through the lower mountains of the Hindu Kush became a brutal ambush.

This book took my level of appreciation for our armed forces that defend our freedom to a whole new level. Their sacrifices, their families’ sacrifices, can never be repaid. God bless them all.

Historia
When Jared Dillian joined Lehman Brothers in 2001, he fulfilled a life-long dream to make it on Wall Street - but he had no idea how close to the edge the job would take him. Like Michael Lewis' classic Liar's Poker, Jared Dillian's Street Freak takes listeners behind the scenes of the legendary Lehman Brothers, exposing its outrageous and often hilarious corporate culture.

You won’t want it to end
Revisado: 10-21-19
What a brilliant book. The author clearly was always meant to write, even though he was an awesome trader too. I can’t write this review without a special mention of the narrator, who couldn’t have been a better fit. His impersonations of characters in the book were absolutely hysterical.
The only disappointment I had with this book is that it ended. Must read.

Historia
A noted economist and human capital expert, together with a multidisciplinary team, show that we've entered a new era in which good corporate behavior is no longer optional, it's the new imperative for success-and they have the data to prove it. Their Good Company Index ranking of the Fortune 100 takes the belief in the bottom-line benefits of good behavior out of the realm of faith and into the realm of facts.

Too much political rhetoric
Revisado: 03-17-16
I wanted a business book and not a series of anecdotes laced with a political agenda. There is certainly good information within the book but the author leaves no room for doubt as to what political affiliation they side with, and this took away from the enjoyment of the book.
