Historia
There may be no tidy solutions or pithy answers to life’s big challenges, but Michelle Obama believes that we can all locate and lean on a set of tools to help us better navigate change and remain steady within flux. In The Light We Carry, she opens a frank and honest dialogue with listeners, considering the questions many of us wrestle with: How do we build enduring and honest relationships? How can we discover strength and community inside our differences? What tools do we use to address feelings of self-doubt or helplessness? What do we do when it all starts to feel like too much?

Magnificent story point of view
Revisado: 11-30-22
I never had a book to speak to me or tell me a story. I grew up in Hungary but never understood the connection between the cube and the cyber. I will work in my cube skill with a completely different approach after 30 years been left out on cubing. also the story and examples helped me better understand my career as a mechanical engineer and to have a different eye sight on it. I am so happy that at least I could meet Me Rubik Ernő this way.

A powerful, moving memoir - and a practical guide to healing - written by Dr. Edith Eva Eger, an eminent psychologist whose own experiences as a Holocaust survivor help her treat patients and allow them to escape the prisons of their own minds. The Choice weaves Eger's personal story with case studies from her work as a psychologist. Her patients and their stories illustrate different phases of healing and show how people can choose to escape the prisons they construct in their minds and find freedom, regardless of circumstance.

Amazing story of belief, decision, grit and love
Revisado: 10-31-22
I have lived and born in Hungary in the post war era. been bullied and discriminated a lot. many times felt like I should live in different world. I learned a lot when I first moved to the USA, then to England and back here. Edit thought me to have a piece with myself above and beyond anything. Believe in yourself despite any conditions and there is hope for all of us because we all humans. I had.to stop many times during her story because it felt like I was there with her. Her life, attitude stance made me think differently about life society and self believe especially as a fellow Hungarian. This is my best book of my life. Thank you so much for sharing and writing your life. Thank you.

Touching story to solve our life long struggles
Revisado: 09-20-22
As a fellow Hungarian I have lived in a different era. But struggled and grew up during the communist resim. I first sew her appearing on Ryan Holiday. She shows ways to change your life and change your habits and fears. I also read the logo therapy book from Viktor Frankl which changed my view on lots of things. I appreciate both of them for their work and views.

Great point of view to rethink my own problems
Revisado: 08-02-22
I grew up in eastern Europe and sometimes we haven't had much to eat. But while I was listening to Melinda and the stories of others I have revaluated my own life and problems. It gave me more strength to be a better person. Sometimes I had to stop listening to the book because the weight of the story was so weighing compare to my "little" problems. I am glad that Melinda, Bill and everyone at the foundation is working on to have better life, positions and improved chances sometimes to stay alive in some cases for these women and their family. I like the story and the thought process. The only thing I would improve is to have a better quality audio in terms of audio volume and clarity.Very well done.

Historia
When Newton discovered the law of gravity, he unified the rules governing the heavens and the Earth. Since then, physicists have been placing new forces into ever-grander theories. But perhaps the ultimate challenge is achieving a monumental synthesis of the two remaining theories—relativity and the quantum theory. This would be the crowning achievement of science, a profound merging of all the forces of nature into one beautiful, magnificent equation to unlock the deepest mysteries in science: What happened before the Big Bang?
