Great start to a new series!

It took me a while to get into it, but definitely worth it. The progression is awesome, and I love the MCs worldview. The contrast with the characters of The Land is great. Not what I was expecting when I listened to the first chapter what seems like forever ago, but was even better than I thought it would be.
Now where is book 9? ;)

Not what you want, but it's what you didnt know you needed. Though, it makes you want book 9 even more than you wanted book 8.
