I love this series. I didn’t want this to end even though I knew who the bad guy was early on. It didn’t matter! Such a fun series. Great narrator as well. I hope that there will be another book on the way. Thank you Joanna Barker!❤️❤️❤️

Heartbreaking story

I don’t know how anyone who has a kind heart could ever not feel the pain that Carmel felt. And at the end when Jean Grainger tells us why this book was written I felt even worse. She doesn’t mention the woman the book was based on and maybe she never found out. But if she is out there and reads our reviews, I hope she reads how much she is loved by all of us.

This story to me was slower in the beginning than other of Grisham’s books. I feel cheated after listening for that long and the book ending like it did. Worst ending ever. The least you could do is write a second book to continue story John!!!!

Never long enough☹️

Oh how I wish all of the Cherringham stories were so much longer. I absolutely love every one of them. This one is no exception. And Neil is such a perfect narrator as usual. Can’t get enough of Jack and Sarah. Thank you Mr. Costello and Mr. Richards!

I so loved this book. The story is great and characters are so wonderful that i cheer them on. There are some great jokes in it as well. And the narrator was so good. Get it!!! You will love it!❤️

Disappointed with endings

Spoiler alerts! In Sweeter Than Any Dream I couldn’t wait to hear the responses of Olivia’s mother and Aunt to Edward’s proposal and then…. nothing.
In An Invitation To Dance I couldn’t wait to hear of Ella’s reunion with her Papa. Then after Alex talks to him at the ball and then dances with Ella, again… nothing Otherwise I would absolutely love these stories. Surely I’m not the only one that would have loved more of the endings.

Too much like When we danced at the end of the Pier.

This was a good book but too much like another of the Authors book. And way too predictable. And did I mention that it is way too predictable? Of course Aoife McMahon is always a joy to listen to. I usually listen to my books again and again but I don’t think I’ll listen to this one. I feel like I knew exactly what was going to happen next so I feel like I could have written it myself. And Mary? It’s obvious but REALLY?! Did that have to happen?!

Great story until… the end!!!!!

What was she thinking when she wrote the end of this book?!!!! What happened to the people who had been blackmailed?!!! Was the man who supposedly shot himself cleared? She must have just gotten tired and told herself it was good enough and suddenly, the end. Ridiculous.

Narrator ruined this book.

The first books in this series were great. The stories were great and the narrator. But I cannot stand when a narrator makes the characters sound cartoonish. She spoiled it for me. I will more than likely not get the next ones. I hate when they are switched. But other than that, I love Ashtyn Newbold’s books and I know she will have more than enough success!❤️
