10/10 cannot wait for book 2

This was such an amazing listen!

I’ve listened to many fantasy books before but this one definitely had its twists that I wasn’t expecting. Themes that are new to me and I cannot wait for book 2!

The female narrator who brought Auren to life did a phenomenal job because I can feel the annoyance.. the want.. the need.. all of it in her voice!

Keri Lake did it again!

Absolutely fell in love with this book / listen!

Bravo to the narrators (specially James Cassidy) for doing so many different characters in this book! Plus it was a duet narration that we all love!

My only complaint about this book is Maevyth had too many whiny moments.. I was starting to get over it but continued to listen and fell in love with the relations she built with all the other characters.

Can’t wait for book 2!

I’ll be honest- it took me a little longer to get through book 2 but I’m so happy I did!

So many emotions… so many questions!!

Jaclyn did a PHENOMENAL job writing in past tense and bringing it back to present. Absolutely wonderful and I cannot wait for book 3 to drop next week!

I’m still obsessed with the concept of Demi-Gods and cursed children!

Holy Hell that was a hot listen

Wow.. wow.. wow is all I can say about this listen! The title of this book is 100% fitting!

Even though this is a shorter book, I learned so much about a culture I don't know a whole lot about. It brought light to what is happening and how Oz persevered!

This love square (you could say) makes sense... The broken come together no matter what scars you carry, there's someone in the world who will accept you!

Btw Mila.. you've got one fcked up creative mind because I heard somethings in this book I never thought I'd hear 😂

Thank you for making this a duet performance and I sincerely appreciate the TW at the beginning of the book! Honestly wish more people would do that!

Cannot wait to listen to more of your books!

Wonderful Listen

I absolutely loved everything about this listen! The narrators did a spectacular job throwing their voices to help differentiate the characters that were talking! Please note: this is not a massive SMUT book. The hints that were added, added dimensions to the characters!

Cannot wait to listen to book 2!

This was my first MC romance and I was HERE for this story!! Thank you Navessa for shedding light on vets and the scars they carry when coming home along anyone who has gone through some kind of traumatic accident!

This story was such an enjoyable listen and the voice narrators did great!!

Phenomenal Listen!

What a beautiful story this was for Kid and Han!

The fact that Kid was able to find a soul mate in Han and accepted every aspect of her. The good, bad, ugly, dark! Their story was so unique and a love everyone deserves to have in their life!

Jescie is incredible with her writing skills and is able to shed light on things people want to keep hidden. We all have pasts that we don’t want to address but sometimes it just takes that small push to open up and become free!

The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing the heartbreak, the laughter, the seriousness to life throughout this book! And it’s a duet narration!

Please definitely read the TW as there was a lot of heavy topics in this book ❤️

5/10 - not my favorite but had potential

I have a few thoughts of this book and sadly not all are great.

1. This book had A LOT of potential however it’s an 18 hour listen and in my opinion nothing really exciting happened until about 3 hours left of listening..

2. I sadly couldn’t stand the female narrators voice. Very monotone and one note. Males voice I was used to already due to listening to another audiobook narrated by him!

3. I wish I loved this book as much as the other reviewers because I was excited to hear it contained mythical creatures like Fae, vampires and celestial’s! I understand the beginning of the book we’re being introduced the characters, their backstories but it just dragged on… and on… I YERNED for more action!

4. Honestly.. not sure I can continue on to the other books if voiced by the same female narrator (strictly an audio girly) which is disappointing because I’m hoping book 2 is more adventurous now that we ended the first book with a somewhat exciting scene.
