It’s estimated that each year between eighty and ninety million children around the globe are given a box of LEGO, while up to ten million adults buy sets for themselves. Yet LEGO is much more than a dizzying number of plastic bricks that can be put together and combined in countless ways. LEGO is also a vision of the significance of what play can mean for humanity.

not very interesting
Revisado: 09-25-24
I guess I find the Lego story not very interesting. With four hours left I started fast forwarding through the audiobook, trying to find a spot that was focused on the product, development and the interesting facts of the Lego toy. It was in my opinion a lot of irrelevant information that wasn’t helpful to understanding the product. There was business talk that wasn’t interesting, information about properties, information about family and very very little regarding the toy. It mentioned licensing, Star Wars and Harry Potter briefly.

somewhat of an interesting book. I liked their employee values and their commitment to using less. However, there was also a fair amount of environmental information. I didn’t expect to receive while listening to a autobiography.

Historia
The death of Steve Jobs left a gaping void at one of the most innovative companies of all time. Jobs wasn't merely Apple's iconic founder and CEO; he was the living embodiment of a global megabrand. It was hard to imagine that anyone could fill his shoes - especially not Tim Cook, the intensely private executive who many thought of as Apple's "operations drone". But seven years later, as journalist Leander Kahney reveals in this definitive audiobook, things at Apple couldn't be better.

Revisado: 05-17-24
this is a decent book and learn I learned some things I was not aware of. However, it appears, and it could be wrong that most research was done based off of what has been publicly published. that being said, maybe it’s just the authors writing style that made me feel that way.

Historia
In 2001, Ian McKellen put on the robe and pointed hat of a wizard named Gandalf and won a place in the hearts of Tolkien fans worldwide. Though his role in the film adaptation of Lord of the Rings introduced him to a new audience, McKellen had a thriving career a lifetime before his visit to Middle Earth. He made his West End acting debut in 1964 in James Saunders's A Scent of Flowers, but it was in 1980 that he took Broadway by storm when he played Antonio Salieri in Peter Shaffer's Tony Award-winning play Amadeus....

my opinion, not worth listening to.
Revisado: 03-01-24
I will sum up the book, the best I can. It consisted of three parts talking about theater, mentioning Ian is gay, and lord of the rings. After many hours of listening to the writer, talk about theater and Ian being gay. He finally got to mentioning very briefly the Marvel universe, and then gave about a hour and a half of information about Lord of the rings. Then went back to theater storytelling.

The story reminds me of the movie true lies when Arnold’s wife is meeting with that guy who pretends to be a spy. There might be some truth, but the majority of it I call BS.

Revisado: 12-11-22
I’m not sure if this is a true story or not. It was interesting However, I’m not sure where the author fits into the story. I don’t recall anything about him. No not sure how he knew what took place with the main characters, since he wasn’t ever mentioned being there. If I may, I would like to give us digestion to some of the Termanology use during describing and intimate times. Vulgar teenage language, is it necessary to get the message across. I would hate to have someone unfamiliar with the audiobook to overhear a portion unexpectedly. It didn’t add any value.
