Historia
As Marines, Cal and Jim depended on each other to survive bloodshed and despair in the Pacific. Relieved to put the horrors of war behind him, Jim went home to his apple orchard and a quiet life with his wife and children. Knowing Jim could never return his forbidden feelings, Cal hoped time and an ocean between them would dull the yearning for his best friend.

It was good story but still makes me sad
Revisado: 03-17-25
Good story, like the characters, but the story still makes me sad, but I guess it can’t be helped.

"Look out for Zach, and don't hit on him." My brother's request sounds easy enough. Keep an eye out for his best friend on campus and keep my hands to myself. Easy. Even if Zach is a quintessential nerd, who I've always thought was cute, I don't have the time to think with my...stick. There's only one stick I should be focused on this year, and that's my hockey stick. My goal once I graduate is to get an NHL contract. The last thing I need is a distraction. On or off the ice. Only, keeping to the rules is harder than I thought it would be.

It was ok.
Revisado: 03-15-25
It’s fine, but the pace was very fast, and the story and characters felt very shallow. There wasn’t a lot of emotion involved imo. But it’s not bad just ok.

Historia
Logen Ninefingers, infamous barbarian, has finally run out of luck. Caught in one feud too many, he's on the verge of becoming a dead barbarian - leaving nothing behind him but bad songs, dead friends, and a lot of happy enemies. Nobleman, dashing officer, and paragon of selfishness, Captain Jezal dan Luthar has nothing more dangerous in mind than fleecing his friends at cards and dreaming of glory in the fencing circle. But war is brewing, and on the battlefields of the frozen North they fight by altogether bloodier rules.

It was ok, but potential
Revisado: 02-07-25
The first book in the series feels like a lot of world and character building. The story wasn’t crazy good imo, but I think it sets up the rest of the series and forge series could be great

Historia
Every object has a ghost. There is a small yellow backpack - half unzipped, mouth yawning to the pavement, contents strewn around it (a banana, an exercise book, a pair of scissors) - abandoned on a suburban footpath. Ten feet away, the rubber stamp of tyres, resisting clamped brakes, mount the curb and cut across the path. The tracks come to an end at a crippled stop sign. The street, a tree-lined suburban road dappled in late-afternoon sunlight, is calm. But anyone walking past can feel the ghosts: the prickle on the back of their necks that tells them something happened here.

GOOD entry level book into MM Erotica
Revisado: 03-17-21
This book was a good. It took a little while for me to feel comfortable with the narration, and the story seemed a bit shallow, but overall I liked the book. I think if this would have been one of the first books I listened too when starting on my MM erotica journey I would have loved it. I think it would make a great movie, but felt a little lacking on story and details as a book.

They just keep getting better.
Revisado: 03-04-19
Every book just keeps getting better and better. The gradual adding/ increase in the romantic element is perfect. And I probably say this in every review but this is the best one so far. So many real life struggles that are easily relatable in this book. Very excellent listen.

When they're ordered to take a vacation for the good of everyone's sanity, Ty bites the bullet and takes Zane home with him to West Virginia, hoping the peace and quiet of the mountains will give them the chance to explore the explosive attraction they’ve so far been unable to reconcile with their professional partnership.

Better than the first
Revisado: 01-23-19
I was slow to read this book, but I have to say I liked it a lot more than the first one. I almost feel like I would rather recommend this book before the first. Even without the back story of the first book I think this could be a good stand alone book. But thats just my opinion.

It’s was ok
Revisado: 12-13-18
The main idea I thought was creating but the overall story was mediocre. If this book was just the precursor to a more complex and creative universe it’s worth the read but I don’t know what the second book is about. But as a stand-alone if given the choice again I wouldn’t listen.
