Historia
Katie Connelly has lived in San Francisco all her life. Her late father made his career as an ironworker on the Golden Gate Bridge, and the many stories of him trying to save jumpers still haunt her. When she's asked to write a history about the bridge, her research uncovers a secret journal hidden in her father's desk, pages of familiar advice penned by the hand of a stranger. The scribbled words tell of a promise ring and a distant love, clues that Katie hopes may answer her own unresolved sorrow.

A Hallmark movie in book form
Revisado: 03-10-20
I really dislike hallmark movies. I couldn't stop thinking how much this book reminded me of the standard hallmark plot. not my cup of tea but if you like them, you'll like this book.

Incredible Story
Revisado: 03-19-15
What did you love best about The River of Doubt?
If this were a fictional story, it would only rate 2 stars. The fact that it is true and involved one of the most iconic presidents of the United States earns it the additional stars. It is incredible what they went through and survived in a time when adventure and discoveries were such an exciting part of the world.
