Historia
Over 5,000 years, India has been home to a rich tapestry of peoples and cultures. Two of the world's great religions - Hinduism and Buddhism - have their origins in South Asia, and the lands east of the Indus River have long been a central hub for trade, migration, and cultural exchange. Today the subcontinent contains 20 percent of the world's population and is a thriving center for global business, making this region one of most significant economic powerhouses in the world.

This book is as good or better than the first!
Revisado: 01-25-21
Amazing story, this book and the first are my favorite. The ending opens up fresh possiblities for more books in the future!
My only slight disappointed with the story was the narration, this book had a lot of characters and to many of them sounded the same and sometimes made it a little confusing to keep track of some of the conversations.
Awesome & can't wait till book 8 comes to audio!

My least favorite of the series...
Revisado: 01-22-21
The whole Professor Fell syndicate comes off like a campy 18th century James Bond Spector attempt.
Worth listening to, I do really enjoy the series, but this one is a did.

This story could've been a third in it's total length. The only real highlight is the diary. The rest of what went on could have been omitted and that would not have changed the quality overall.

Robert R. McCammon has grown leaps and bounds as a writer and author since the 80's!
There was great heart and horror as well as American historical mood done with some ominous accuracy.
I'm starting book two from this series right away...

Historia
With Friedrich Nietzsche, philosophy was dangerous not only for philosophers but for everyone. His ideas presaged a collective madness that had horrific consequences in Europe in the early 1900s. Though his philosophy is more one of aphorisms than a system, it is brilliant, persuasive, and incisive. His major concept is the will to power, which he saw as the basic impulse for all our acts. Christianity he saw as a subtle perversion of this concept, thus Nietzsche's famous pronouncement, "God is dead."
