Really enjoyed this reading of Tina Fey's book. I laughed so much, and really enjoyed all the anecdotes about her life. Also love the included PDF. Great listen and highly recommended.

Fascinating Read / Good Narrator

5 out of 5 stars

I bought this book because I liked the idea of getting advice based on facts / statistics. I was worried it might get boring, but I like to know authors are coming to conclusions based on scientific study or some kind of data. But I had no reason to worry because this book was fascinating! It offered good common sense advice about how to maintain a marriage or any committed relationship in a straight forward but not in a cheesy self-help way. Definitely recommended.

Great Idea but Unravels

I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to others. It starts off very well - love that there is a perspective from a nun! That's something fresh and new. However, as the story goes on it begins to unravel a bit and becomes a little anti-climatic by the end. It loses a bit of steam. However, Susan Denaker does a great job bringing all the characters to life with her voice. I wonder if there will be a sequel.

Liked it well enough

I liked this well enough. I agree with some previous reviews - the main character is a little bit "dumb" considering the fact that she's a PhD student at Harvard. But otherwise I enjoyed the story and the narration by Katherine Kellgren is really great - love her different voices. The beginning is great, middle lagged and was repetitive, but liked the ending!

Utterly Engrossing

I love audio books as I spend a lot of my time in the car commuting, but even as a veteran audio book listener I was surprised how engrossed I became with this story! The mystery of Harriet's disappearance left me wondering - and when I got sucked into the whole investigation I found myself listening to this not only in the car but also at home while doing chores! Simon Vance's narration is excellent helps heighten the story as well.

For any audio book the most important thing to me is enjoying the narrator's voice -- love Neil Gaiman reading his own work! The story is captivating and very engaging. Loved the imaginative use of London as the backdrop. Only taking one star off because it does take a little time to get into the story at first, but give it time! It's a great listen!
