This book was amazing, start to finish. The political games might make the plot seem slow for those used to a lot of action, but the complex magic system and thorough world building more than make up for any lack.
I can’t wait to start the next book in the series.

I’ve enjoyed all of Alice Coldbreath’s books and this one was no exception. Her unique story lines and relatable characters make her one of my favorite authors.
