Historia
Wyoming Territory, 1876. US Marshal John “Hawk” Hawking is one of the most respected lawmen in the West, so when a telegram arrives from the small town of Sand Creek warning him of a death threat against him, he immediately begins an investigation. Posing as a farmer, Hawk heads to Sand Creek, a town ruled by a violent and corrupt sheriff. Only one person is trying to stop him―Liesl, the sheriff’s own daughter. When Liesl meets the self-assured and attractive new farmer, John, she hopes he might help her in the fight for justice.

Description feels really clichè, but I enjoyed the story.

Enjoyed the story. With the limitations of space in a novel of this kind, it's kind of hard to fit much plot and character development in without feeling like it's a bit rushed.
Decided to listen to it because I'm from Wyoming, and I was curious what would be said about it.

There were many versions of this audio book to choose from. I chose this version based off of the sample, and wasn't disappointed in the main. Good show.

Historia
This three-and-a-half-hour audiobook offers a faithful retelling of the Hofmann forgeries, and their impact on the progressive rewriting of Latter-Day Saint history. Why did new Mormon historians insist Hofmann’s forgeries were legitimate, even when investigators provided convincing evidence to them of the hoax? How did Bruce R. McConkie know Hofmann’s Joseph Smith III Blessing was a fake, despite authentication by document experts and pressure by historians calling him “incompetent” for questioning?
