Recently, VimPets employee Wanda Adler accompanied him to town, apparently wanting a relationship and more with Jack. When Wanda is found murdered, Carrie has to do all she can to find the killer.

Hard to listen too. Had to up speed to get through it. Main character is highly unlikeable and spoils the experience. I know you want details to draw listeners / readers in but feels like way to many unnecessary details ( felt like trying to meet a word quota when writing a school paper). Thank goodness it was a free book.

Captivating

This book drew me in right from the start. I do a lot of walking and that is my listening time. I burn through books quickly so have a rule that I only listen while walking this however became an exception as I found myself captivated by the story and the characters. Relatable on so many levels. I purchased this on sale for $5 however it is worth full price and then some

Listened as free audible’s original as a part of membership. Not a typical listen for me by any means but as I am burning through my membership credits I needed to take it vantage of the two free originals each month. I was more than pleasantly surprised with this one, it kept me captivated and entertained. Most enjoyable listen and would have been worth the use if a credit or actual purchase. Nice selection Audibles!!
