Historia
It’s been two years since Anna Cartwright’s life fell apart. During her first school trip as a young teacher, a student went missing and was never found. Not only was her career ruined, she was also accused of having an affair with fellow teacher and prime suspect Graham. Facing questions from journalists, police and family, Anna said she didn’t know what happened. She was lying. Now, Anna has returned to Australia. Her only hope is Land’s End Area School, an isolated concrete wasteland perched on the cliffs.

A story that dragged on
Revisado: 12-21-24
The reader is left so long in the dark that it becomes tedious to listen to.
The narrator is very good
I will not recommend this book, nor read or listen to this author. She does do well priming her listens or readers to become eager to see what will happen next, but unfortunately she drones on until the end and leaves you with, what just happened.

All three of the books in this series has been awesome. Besides the mystery, Lydia Traders shared bits of information on Scotland. The narrator is perfect. I will definitely tell my family and book club about this very enjoyable series.

I have always loved her stories but this story was not even interesting. I returned her new book as it was so irritating. Sad to think I lost an author I once had very much enjoyed.

Lucinda Riley is an awesome writer. This story touched my heart and soul. From her Seven Sisters book, I have taken her saying, "If you change direction, you will end up where you were going." This story too has given me peace and joy.

Awesome
Revisado: 06-11-24
This series of books, The Seven Sisters was the best series I have ever read. Lucinda Riley and her son Harry Whitaker are exceptional writers. You could not tell he took over the last book. The books were intriguing, heartfelt and have the reader a little history and geography along the way. I recommended it to friends and my book club.

Historia
Little Starhorodivka, a village of three streets, lies in Ukraine's Grey Zone, the no-man's-land between loyalist and separatist forces. Thanks to the lukewarm war of sporadic violence and constant propaganda that has been dragging on for years, only two residents remain: retired safety inspector turned beekeeper Sergey Sergeyich, and Pashka, a rival from his schooldays. With little food and no electricity, under constant threat of bombardment, Sergeyich's one remaining pleasure is his bees. As spring approaches, he knows he must take them far from the Grey Zone.

Exceptional Stories
Revisado: 02-14-24
Absolutely loved all three of the books. The characters were well defined. Besides being an awesome story it told a lot about how our world of finance is handled not in a textbook way. There is lots of humour in the books. Wish they could make a series Movie of the three books but stay completely as she wrote it. Excellent narrator!! I refer recommended Ingelman-Sundberg books to our book club.
