An incredible and heartbreaking adventure

Aleron’s Labyrinth series has been a roller coaster since The Founding but Alpha somehow came in and made all of that look like small potatoes, I won’t spoil anything but for me the realness of how Fin “handles” everything it made me feel for him.

Now, that said there are a few things that while not enough for me to say “language” I can see some readers and audiences not being happy about. The use of profanity is over the top at times or so I was told. Honestly if my wife hadn’t have mentioned it, I probably wouldn’t have noticed but that is just me.

All and all I’d say excellent book and fitting addition to the Labyrinth series. I am excited to see where Fin’d story goes and how it will connect to The Land and God’s.

Quite dark, but strangely heartfelt

Going into this book I figured it would be just an extension of the land and that would be that. While this book is that, it has a darker feel to it. The way the main character holds himself, interacts with the world as a whole, and the battles seem grittier. Incredible story, compelling character, and the dark atmosphere is fitting for this new world.
