Thought it would be funny

I loved Long Island Compromised and expected the same style of humor with this book. I probably should have done more research before purchasing it. Regardless, there were excellent moments, such as Rachel's perspective near the end. Most of the time, I had no idea whose perspective was being read since the sections were not audibly noted. The story did not keep my interest, but I might try the Netflix miniseries to see if I like it better.

Fun Romance Involving Animal Rescue

I listened to Hate You Later on Audible. It was a fun story about a "goth" young woman (Georgia)who makes specialty clothing for animals while also running an animal rescue. A local, wealthy family steals Georgia's designs and begins mass producing them. Georgia unknowingly falls in love with the "good" son (Hudson) in said wealthy family through social media chats where they message in the "voice" of their respective pets. The story unfolds from there. Hudson attempts to save face when Georgia realizes it's his family who stole her designs. Cute story!
