The first part of the book call “Time” started really strong but by chapter 4,it made me feel like I was listening to a Highly Functional Depressive person.
The book gets better in the latter chapters but I can’t say I would recommend it if you are not a fan of Matthew already.
I love Matthew this an amazing author but this book was not his best in my opinion.

I’m a huge fan of Ryan but this book was a miss opportunity in my opinion.
Every single chapter has the same formula
1.Famous phase about Courage.
2.Example of famous person that had to be brave.
3.Example of how you can “be brave” in the present day.
For example
“Be not afraid”
August Landmesser was the man who refused to stand up during a Nazi rally showing bravery.
Today don’t be afraid to go against everyone if they are wrong. In a world of pandemics use your mask when no body is using it. Fight for what’s right!
It’s nice and all but it’s the same on every single chapter.
This book beyond repetitive. Discipline is Destiny is way better since Ryan used a new formula of divining the book in 3 parts then pick a perfect person that will represent each of the 3 parts making everything more refreshing.

Eye opener, this books shows you communities and perspectives that we don’t really think about from the army soldiers that are not mindless drones that just follow orders and reasons why people into Army. Shows you how soldiers actually question why exactly they are doing whatever they are doing. The reality of the LGBT community, the real struggles and hardships that mainstream media doesn’t want you to hear. I just wish it was longer. AMAZING BOOK.
