Another interesting fantasy story

I have lost track of how many books i have read by this author and he has never failed me. I have enjoyed every story. The author develops the characters really well and has a lot of adventure and mystery with a little bit of humor thrown in. This is the second in the series but you could read/listen alone and have a really good idea of what has happened already. Someone is killing people and trying to get Digger, the main character, blamed for the deaths. Digger sets out to stop the killings. There is violence but not an excessive or gory amount. There is no sex and not a lot of romance. A fun and entertaining story that even made me laugh out loud a few times.

This was a pretty fast story. A private detective gets a new case. Her client says his adopted parents have died and he wants the detective to attempt to find his biological mother. This is the story of what the detective does to try to solve the case. The story ends so there is no cliffhanger.

What if your inspiration was actually a monster?

This is the first audiobook I have listened to by this author although i have read several of his other books so i had an idea of what to expect. i was not disappointed! This was a fun story that was part horror and part mystery. There is a serial killer out there and he has killed the wife of the sheriff. The sheriff naturally does everything he can to track the killer down. There is a problem though. I dont want to tell too much but if you like your horror of the supernatural variety you will probably enjoy this. The story ends, no annoying cliffhanger. Be careful which characters you get attached to since they all don't make it. An entertaining story for adults with so.e gore but not an excessive amount. The author provides the narration and does a really good job of it.
