Historia
After touring the rural areas of Panga, Sibling Dex (a Tea Monk of some renown) and Mosscap (a robot sent on a quest to determine what humanity really needs) turn their attention to the villages and cities of the little moon they call home. They hope to find the answers they seek, while making new friends, learning new concepts, and experiencing the entropic nature of the universe. Becky Chambers's new series continues to ask: in a world where people have what they want, does having more even matter?

This was worth the long wait and what I needed. Emmett reprises a phenominal reading of Becky Chambers Tea Monk and Robot Series. Their delivery is so perfect and cinematic.

Historia
It's been centuries since the robots of Panga gained self-awareness and laid down their tools; centuries since they wandered, en masse, into the wilderness, never to be seen again; centuries since they faded into myth and urban legend. One day, the life of a tea monk is upended by the arrival of a robot, there to honor the old promise of checking in. The robot cannot go back until the question of "what do people need?" is answered. But the answer to that question depends on who you ask, and how.

A book i took a chance on and found it perfect.
Revisado: 04-25-22
This is like a Sci-fi Cottagecore type book that had beautiful moments and deep thoughts. Its perfectly short and im hooked to get the sequel when i can.
Emmett Grosland, the voice actor, has one of the best voices in reading I have ever heard. I love his pace and their humorous delivery of dialouge.

Historia
Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum—as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.

A master of delivery and tone.
Revisado: 09-28-21
Andy Serkis gives it his all in the Hobbit. He even does the Gollum voice. It's having never read the Hobbit before it truely is an emotional and deep story about bravery to going to places you never thought you could get to.

Historia
What sort of madman would unleash an army of stilt-walking, laser-beaming, thoroughly angry whales upon the world? Who cares! All that matters is that his dastardly plan be foiled. Lucky for Lily Gefelty, her two best friends are the intrepid stars of their own middle-grade series novels: Jasper Dash (better know as the Boy Technonaut) and Katie Mulligan (beloved by millions as the heroine of the Horror Hollow series). It's going to take all their smarts to stop this insane, inane plot from succeeding.

As funny as I remember!
Revisado: 05-19-21
I read this in second grade I think and it instantly became my favorite book ever. It may be a little more directed to 5th grade and up maybe but its family friendly regardless. Its has very bizarre and almost Gaiman-esque sense of humor. This book actually made me laugh still. Regardless how old you are just give it a try.

Historia
Ensign Andrew Dahl has just been assigned to the Universal Union Capital Ship Intrepid, flagship of the Universal Union since the year 2456. Life couldn’t be better…until Andrew begins to pick up on the facts that (1) every Away Mission involves some kind of lethal confrontation with alien forces; (2) the ship’s captain, its chief science officer, and the handsome Lieutenant Kerensky always survive these confrontations; and (3) at least one low-ranked crew member is, sadly, always killed.

I've never heard a story as incredible as this. Wil Wheaton is as phenominal as he is in reading the Martian. I beg you to give this a try.

Historia
“One morning, as Gregor Samsa was waking up from anxious dreams, he discovered that in bed he had been changed into a monstrous verminous bug.” With this startlingly bizarre sentence, Kafka begins his masterpiece, The Metamorphosis. It is the story of a young traveling salesman who, transformed overnight into a giant, beetle-like insect, becomes an object of disgrace to his family, an outsider in his own home, a quintessentially alienated man. Rather than being surprised at the transformation, the members of his family despise it as an impending burden upon themselves.

If you love Elder Scrolls Oblivion...
Revisado: 02-02-21
This story is wild and fun. It's almost Neil Gaiman style wild but the narration is where it's at. Ralph Cosham nails this performance. It sounds like im listening to a Oblivion npc give me a very long story to a quest. I can visually see the head bobs and talking animations the whole time during the book.
