Bad performance
Revisado: 02-27-21
He is such a hurry. No pausing at all. He reads without pausing between different sections. It is extremely hard to follow even if you slow the speed down.

Historia
As Sita prepares to go into exile, her younger sisters stay back at the doomed palace of Ayodhya, their smiles, hope and joy wiped away in a single stroke. And through the tears and the tragedy one woman of immense strength and conviction stands apart - Urmila, whose husband, Lakshman, has chosen to accompany his brother Ram to the forest rather than stay with his bride. She could have insisted on joining Lakshman, as did Sita with Ram. But she did not. Why did she agree to be left behind in the palace, waiting for her husband for 14 painfully long years?

Good
Revisado: 01-09-17
I picked this up at the airport thinking it will be like Divakaruni's "The Palace of Illusions". But it is not. Somehow it felt superficial. The romance between Lakshman and Urmila could have been better. It is a good read albeit not as poetic as Chitra.

the stories are very simple, real and everyday-like. Narration could've been better though. I recommend the book to one and all. looking forward to other books by Chitra Banerjee Diwakaruni.

Historia
In Being Mortal, best-selling author Atul Gawande tackles the hardest challenge of his profession: how medicine can not only improve life but also the process of its ending. Medicine has triumphed in modern times, transforming birth, injury, and infectious disease from harrowing to manageable. But in the inevitable condition of aging and death, the goals of medicine seem too frequently to run counter to the interest of the human spirit.

Brilliant
Revisado: 11-23-16
The book is fascinating. the content and the narration were perfect. I recommend this book to everyone. A must know thing about coming to terms with the mortality of life. About understating the limitations of medicine and understanding the meaning of well-being in a broader sense.
