Historia
Fiercely independent Daisy Chance has a dream - and it doesn't involve marriage or babies (or being under any man's thumb). Raised in poverty, she has a passion - and a talent - for making beautiful clothes. Daisy aims to become the finest dressmaker in London. Dashing Irishman Patrick Flynn is wealthy and ambitious and has entered society to find an aristocratic bride. Instead he finds himself growing increasingly attracted to the headstrong, clever, and outspoken Daisy.

Terrific series

I shot thrall 4 of these. Enjoyed them all. Terrific theme and the narration was wonderful. Usually a mystery gal, but loved these!

Historia
Governess Abigail Chantry will do anything to save her sister and two dearest friends from destitution, even if it means breaking into an empty mansion in the hope of finding something to sell. Instead of treasures, though, she finds the owner, Lady Beatrice Davenham, bedridden and neglected. Appalled, Abby rousts Lady Beatrice's predatory servants and-with Lady Beatrice's eager cooperation-the four young ladies become her "nieces," neatly eliminating the threat of disaster for all concerned!

So adorable, a jaunty fast moving tale. Loved the characters. Sad when it ended. Narrator was terrific

Historia
From #1 New York Times-best-selling author Nora Roberts comes a novel of a woman who needs nothing, a man who sees everything, and the web of deceit, greed, and danger that brings them together - and that could tear them apart… As a professional house-sitter and freelance writer, nothing ties Lila Emerson down - not her work, not a home, and definitely not a relationship. She spends her life moving from one job to the next, sometimes crashing at a friend's Manhattan apartment.

What happened?
Revisado: 11-27-20
I read this whole series years and years ago.
I remember when the last book came out years after the others. Just relistened to all.
First they do seem a bit juvenile.
The last two are unbearable to listen to as all of a sudden Ayla sounds like a 12 year old Russian.
HOW DID THST HAPPEN?
Also much to much repetition on old info.
Goodness we know she was brought up by the Clan, we know Creb, we know the horses,
Etc.
My younger self loved it, not so much after I used 6 credits! At least they were long (too long, with all that repeating )
