Pleasant tale with promotion of Christianity

The story is sweet and narrated well. However, the last forth of the book has a strong religious component. This is fine, but good to know before starting the book.

Better than expected!

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent performance of an entertaining tale. The main character had enough snark to provide plenty of chuckles without being corny. I hope I enjoy the next book in the series as much as I did this one.

Both writer and narrator created a masterpiece of pleasure. Fabulous character development and portrayal. Exciting adventures on imaginative worlds. Total treat worth several credits!!!

Fabulous epic fantasy!

Excellent tale told by a master narrator. Great character development and relationship building. Plenty of adventure and intrigue. Friendship and loyalty carry the hero through the saga of his life, while insight into the other main characters fills out the details of the story. Thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy. Perfect length and acceptable ending, even though I always hate for a good story to finish.

Too heavy and too much whining for my taste.

Because I thoroughly enjoyed the Soul Reader series by Annie Anderson, I bought the complete series of the Rogue Ethereal, anticipating another adventure with humorous snark intertwined within an entertaining tale. Regretfully, I was disappointed. There was so much "poor me" whining and negativity that I didn't enjoy this series. I was working on a project and let the whole series play through to the end, hoping it would get better after each book. Instead, I frequently found I was tempted to not even finish it. I got tired of the main character's frequent depressive episodes involving long, negative monologues. It might be something others would enjoy, but I felt the series was weighed down by too much negativity and found it depressing.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Cassandra Parker provides a great performance of the characters in this well written book. Totally credible personalities full of life and complexity fill the exploits of the arcane troupe. Annie Anderson gives us an entertaining tale with humor and adventure in this story filled with heart and sensitivity in a relatable, if occult, world. With snarky comments, as well as sincere introspection, the extraordinary talent of Cassandra Parker took me away from my own troubles and let me laugh and experience the magical world of Annie Anderson's imagination.

More entertainment in the Star Kingdom series!

this was another fantastic episode in the Star Kingdom series performed by an amazing multi-talented narrator. Each book includes plenty of action, suspense, adventure, humor plus a touch of romance. Every book ends with a comfortable pause and eager anticipation for the next book in the series.

Good story with decent narration.

Once I got into this book I realized that I had actually read it before. but since it was an audiobook, I decided to go ahead and give it a listen. The story was as good as I remembered but I was disappointed with some of the narration. although she did a good job with the characters and most of the voices, I found her sex scenes extremely annoying due to the screaming-Mimi female in contrast to the pleasant male voice. The scenes were well written but the delivery left a lot to be desired. I had to plug my ears or turn the volume down to get past the whiny, nails on the chalkboard shrieking. other than the disappointing, annoying sex scenes, the narrator did a good job.

A unique adventure for the Argonauts.

This whole series is fantastic for young males with lots of futuristic military battles and enough vulgar humor to lighten the tension. Luke Daniels does a wonderful job with the distinctive voices of the different characters. Even though this genre is not my preference, I'll listen to almost anything narrated by Luke Daniels. This particular tale has some unique twists that add to the suspense.
