WHY CHOOSE this WOLF SHIFTERS series?

I'm not really a fan of series with cliffhangers, but I loved Tessa Hale's previous series about dragon shifters (Dragons of Ember Hollow), and this has the same vibe. The star-studded narration is also definitely something to howl about! Connor Crais is an automatic buy for me, so J.F. Harding, Jason Clarke. Teddy Hamilton & Shane East, along with Vanessa Moyen are the icing on this one! Really enjoyed it, and can't wait for part 2!

Stealth Ops bks 1-3☆my fav is 3 (Asher & Jessica)

Finally getting a chance to go back & read some of Brittney's early books (already a fan of Falcon Falls Security and Costa family series). Great stories, romance, drama/suspense, interesting characters, and good acting/narration. Plus geo-political & world topics that are just as plausible or authentic today (2025) as when Brittney wrote them.

Foxx-y Bourbon Boys AND Craismoor in DUET!!

Loved this story about a family of Kentucky bourbon makers -- the Foxx men -- who have seen more loss than most could imagine or manage. Book 1 in this new series by Victoria Wilder ( a new to me author) is a barrel of fun & enjoyment. It's got mystery, danger, secrets. suspense, flirty banter, and plenty of steam. What else? Feisty women? Check. Protective men? Check. A loyal & lovable K9? Check. Perfect casting & duet narration by Samantha Brentmoor & Connor Crais, my favorite voice actors? Double check. They expertly perform the roles of the MCs, Laney & Grant, along w/ a myriad of interesting secondary characters. I especially enjoyed Samantha's performances of Hadley (Laney's "unfiltered" friend) & Lark & Lily (Grant's nieces) and Connor's performance of Griz (grandpa) & the murderer (definite creeper vibes with this one!). Chapter 1 gets off to the races in dramatic & heartbreaking fashion. The story held my interest throughout & was a pleasure to listen to. Can't wait for the next round -- Lincoln's story is up next in book 2.

Black Mtn Lodge🩷Sterling & Courtney🩷DUET

Loved this story by S.J. Tilly (new to me) about Mr. Black (the growly grump that owns/runs the lodge & fishing guide company) & Courtney (hired as the temp maintenance person for the lodge). He doesn't realize or like that a woman has been hired. She needs the job & room/board that comes with it. Loved the heat/spice, alpha/protector elements, heartfelt moments, & the drama/suspense of the story. The duet narration by Connor Crais and Erin Mallon was wonderful! Erin was fabulous as Courtney and Connor was at his growly/bossy best as Sterling & just terrific as all of the other characters (all were male), including the villain/creep!

At first, I dldn't know what to make of the numerous (nearly 200 for a 9h book) short chapters. Initially, I thought it messed w/ the flow, but since it's told in 1st person/ alternating MC povs, it seems to fit, & I think actually makes the time go faster! It was very easy to listen to -- thoroughly enjoyable listen from one of my favorite duos!!

🩷 Italian accents!! Connor Crais & Ava Lucas🩷

note: Was introduced to the characters Dante & Valentina in By Virtue I Fall which was about D&V's daughter who falls in love with her bodyguard. I bought that audiobook because Connor Crais and Ava Lucas were listed as narrators. They were -- but only had one chapter each. ( While I liked the story, I was dissappointed with the narration. Then I realized I also had Bound by the Past in my library waiting to be listened to.)

Bound by the Past (my 2nd book by Cora Reilly) is Dante and Valentina's story. I really enjoyed both the story and the beautifully performed narration by Connor & Ava. Their Italian accents were great -- sounded so authentic and really added the story IMO. Loved it!

A thousand times exactly perfect! 🩷 Bryn & Zane

This book by Jennie Marts ( a new to me author) is delightful! This story is about Bryn, a big hearted waitress in a small town who saves a horse, and ends up running an animal rescue ranch. As it turns out, she rescues humans along with animals ‐- well, one human at least -- Zane. Zane is a cowboy and "horse whisperer", who's more at ease with animals than with people. He has a lot of "baggage" as well as physical scars from past abuse, past loss, and war. This book made me LOL, cry, and laugh some more. The 2 scenes where the ladies from Kansas visit the ranch with a "Tiny" request and where a nurse/old friend/angel dispenses some wisdom in a hospital chapel are my favorites. The narration was performed by Connor Crais and Vanessa Edwin, and was perfect! They brought all of the characters and emotions to life so beautifully. Greatly enjoyed it.

Hudson & Molly 🩷 Love them & their 'Wilde' ride

The road to their HEA, is a bit longer than some at nearly 13 hrs, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this book by Ava Harrison (a new to me author). [Note: I listened @1.25x speed, which is pretty normal for me, and that made it ~ 10 hrs.]
It's the 3rd book in a series. I bought it because the narrators -- Connor Crais and CJ Bloom -- are one of my favorite duos. I listened to it as a standalone and really enjoyed it. I added the other books in the series to my wishlist.
The story takes place over the course of several years, while Hudson and Molly's brother (Dane) are teammates. This is essentially an enemies to lovers story and the Vegas wedding (blurb), doesn't happen until later (2nd half). This story had a good mix of humor, heart, healing, and heat. I giggled at the banter & funny group convos & texts, My heart broke for the loss of family/ family dysfunction/ childhood trauma. I was heartened by the many examples of "found family", their sense that "home" can be a person (not just a place), & the possible role of fate (or destiny/ a higher power at work) in one's life.
Connor and CJ's dual narration was wonderful, & their acting was excellent as always. They are a real joy to listen to.

Suspense & Mystery + DUET narration

This is the begining of a new series by author Nyssa Kathryn. Smalltown, friends to lovers, ex-military and law enforcement MMCs are some of my very favorite tropes. All of that plus the suspense, mystery, and action kept me interested until the end. Lucy Rivers & Connor Crais performed the DUET narration, and they were terrific. The only thing I didn't like was that much of the dialog for Aspen (didn't notice it as much for other FCs) was whispery & breathy, which was distracting to me. I had to use a very low volume and higher speed (1.25-1.4) to make it easier to listen to. Otherwise, I loved the narration & thought the acting was great.

Psychic Twins: MFM + SUSPENSE + DUET = 🔥

Stories w polyamory aren't usually my thing, but hot twin police officer brothers trying to solve a murder, shut down local drug rings, rescue an abducted child, AND they sound like my 2 favorite male narrators -- COUNT ME IN! Loved the suspense and authenticity re: law enforcement procedures & practices. This book by Ella Sheridan (new to me) was a really nice surprise! it was narrated in duet by Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, and Connor Crais -- an all☆ trio! -- with Connor performing as Sam (the more sensitive, but still alpha enough, hot 🔥 patrol officer -- yeah, I listened to chapter 1 several times!), and Jason as Gabe (the more alpha, ex-military, detective) & all of the other male voices. Loved Stella as Peyton! She conveyed every one of Peyton's emotions and self-doubts perfectly. Connor & Jason were fabulous as the emotionally & mentally connected brothers! The story held my interest throughout. The HEA was a little eerie, but very sweet. Really enjoyed this one.

TREE-mendously funny short in duet!

Love this well written short story by Abby Jimenez (new to me). It's charming; has great characters; is LOL funny w/ puns aplenty; yet deftly deals w/ a serious topic. The duet narration by Connor Crais (my fav) & Julia Whelan (new to me) is fabulous! It's a little more than an hour of total enjoyment, so don't LEAF this one behind!
