I’d always heard of this book, but finally read it. Although I’ve since moved into a new field, I still practice sales in my everyday life. A great read for the novice, and a great review for the tenured.

We fix them.” Taking her father’s words to heart, South Dakota's first woman governor Kristi Noem shares heartfelt—and heartbreaking—lessons on making things right in the world, from her childhood on a farm in the vastness of rural America, to the marbled halls of Congress, to the national spotlight amid a global pandemic.

A must read
Revisado: 07-10-22
Great insights to Gov. Noem’s roots and backgrounds which shaped her character and policy decisions. Easy for anyone who is or has been a business owner to relate to. Great insights into some of the day to days in politics as well as how President Trump communicates. A fantastic read for anyone who may be interested in stepping into the political arena at any point in their life with foresight into the nature of the arena. A beautifully told story with layer over layer from the farm to D.C. to the Governor’s Mansion which all fit together simultaneously like a glove. A must have for yours or your family/friends political collection. A perfect gift to yourself, or another, or both. Do not miss out on this fantastic read!

If you would have told me that in the year 2020 I would stand at the White House podium and communicate with the American people as COVID-19 ravaged the globe and violent protests beset the nation, I would have told you that you were crazy. But Jesus Christ had this very plan for my life.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Reads like a children's book
Revisado: 02-09-21
Normally I am not into this writing style however, when looking at the context of the story it was necessary. I've learned a lot about personality studies since I was first introduced to them at a conference many years ago, but I've never seen the communication styles between two more more personality types in this format. A great read for anyone looking to understand others and themselves better whether a novice or an expert.

If you're like many people, you might associate debate with a school club, or perhaps a TV political debate that features two or more candidates talking over each other. But if these are your only associations with debating, you're missing out on an intellectual pursuit that can help you in all aspects of your daily life. The ability to debate - to present persuasive arguments, pierce the logic of others, and turn the tables against withering cross-examinations - is one of the truest tests of one's intellectual capacity.

READ IT LAST
Revisado: 06-28-20
Their are descriptive terms from the Greene’s other books that you will not understand unless you read the other books in the series first. It is basically a Grand Finale to his series packed with new and review. By far it took me the longest of all of the books to complete. I will DEFINITELY have to re-listen to this book in order to capture information I missed, but I am SO happy to finally have completed the collection.
