If you only read one book...

make it this one. There are so many nuggets here. Some will be a refresher. Some will be a completely new way of seeing an old truth. Some will knock you on your butt.

I'm new to Ed Mylett. And I really like his no-nonsense approach.
If you're tired of fluff and you are actually committed to pursuing better, you will find inspiration and motivation from this book.

This is the best business/entrepreneurial book I've read to date.

Highly relevant now as it was when it was published. If you're tired of all the B.S. and fluff, this is the book for you.

This has opened my eyes and my heart

I wasn't raised to speak about money in a healthy and loving way.
Money was filled with shame and judgment. When I started buying nicer things (with money I had earned, mind you) my family accused me of being "too big for my britches", "too good for them", and "wasteful".

Sooo, when I found Amanda's book I snatched it up!
I have since taken many of her courses, including Money Mentality Makeover, and I. Am. A. Big. Fan!

She tells it how it is with love, compassion, and clarity!

I have so much love and gratitude for this woman!

This book surprised me - YES!

This book is ALL THE THINGS!
I was looking for a book on entrepreneurism, money, inspiration... probably what you're looking for, too.

I read on the book's back cover that Arlan is successful at all of this - and then I read that she is also gay - like me. =D.
I went straight to audible, saw that she had narrated her book, and I bought it.
I just finished and I'm going to listen again because there is so much wisdom here it's tough to download the first go-round.

Also - it makes my heart happy to hear about the successes of other women, gay women, tall women, the "other" women - women like me.

Ya know the saying about - when the student is ready the teacher will appear? Well, I was ready and this book filled with Christine's wit and wisdom was EXACTLY what I was looking for - especially that entire chapter on tolerance and decision making. Wow!

I'm not a Christian, however this book offers an interesting perspective that I found really thought-provoking.
The similarities in a global utopia and how it was being orchestrated kept me highly entertained.
From a philosophical standpoint, I found this storyline an interesting role-reversal: Christians throughout history have employed the same unethical and immoral behavior to achieve their objectives (consider the Christian's behaviors during the "witch" persecutions, "holy" wars/crusades, etc.) that the book's demonic/evil characters employ...
I guess it's all about which side is telling the story and from which perspective, right? LOL
And the view point that meditation is an evil gateway to demonic possession is ridiculous, but I know that was a popular opinion during the 1980s when this book was written.
I would go so far as to say this book is a great representative of Christian life in the 1980s. There was a lot of hate- mongering toward other religions then even though it wasn't that long ago. Thankfully, through more education, we humans aren't quite so close-minded now...
Anyway, I enjoy the skillfully constructed characters and layered story... it's a book I've listened to many times and it always brings up something interesting to consider.

I can't say enough good stuff! Motivating, packed with actionable strategies, and the history and statistics were mind blowing. Madam CJ Walker has inspired me for so long and it was amazing to hear her story again. And to learn new facts!
Like I said, this is a valuable read. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
