My Second Guidebook

I have read and listened to this book, possibly 100 times (often in the middle of the night). It gives me strength in dealing with difficult anxiety, fear and doubt. Even though I'm still struggling with these things, Pastor Lucado's insights and encouragement have been so helpful. This is my second Guidebook ; second only to the Bible, which Pastor Lucado helps me to gain a deeper understanding of through the scriptural references in "Anxious For Nothing". I would recommend this book or audio book for everyone!

I felt like was there!

I felt that I was there in Renaissance Florence! While I love reading stories, for this I listened to the audio book and experienced a whole different world of feelings and closeness with the characters. The way that Ms. Emery melded her previous character's personae with Simonetta was so intimate and funny at times. I imagined what it would like to meet Sondra and Leonardo; what would I ask them, what would I tell them of their future s if I was given the opportunity? The story was original and intriguing. I could barely make myself take breaks from listening for fear of missing something or having to return to present reality without knowing what happened. I highly recommend this book to anyone and especially if you love Florence or the great artists.
