Not what I was looking for

I have listened to a lot of different leadership books to help me be a more well rounded and informed company officer. This book was a lot of bullet points and had a couple nuggets of wisdom but not much different from other books I have listened to.

It’s just alright

I wasn’t sure what to expect however I was told by multiple people to give this book a read (listen).
While the author explains how his work was heavily scrutinized by historians and other school, I couldn’t help but have the occasional thought “how do you know Attila would say that?”. The author talks as if he was Attila and that was hard for me to believe.
There were some good leadership tips but I don’t know if I would read it again.

Good for up and coming leaders

This book is great for up and coming leaders. While this book wasn’t exactly what I was looking for at this point in my career, it did offer a few golden nuggets. This is the kind of book I wish in had read when I was younger. Something I will be recommending to young hopefuls.
