I didn’t think Jeb would ever be able to top Sales EQ to be honest.

This book is a culmination of all of his previous texts and surmises how to be a clean, polished professional from start to finish in the highest stakes sales rooms on the planet.

This book is not for beginners. This book is for G’s.

When learning maths you must first learn algebra before calculus.

Take the time to read a few of his previous works and put it all together with this as your cherry on top.

Your pocket and your soul will thank you.

I’m not gonna lie… I’ve studied this multiple times and every single time I laugh at the word taint and my mind wanders.

That said, this was a straight forward rendering of the teachings with minimal deviation and personal perception which is what I enjoy.

I don’t care how learned people are… they aren’t Buddha.

Relax, go nuts!

Mindset is everything-skipping meals and making deals had me entertained from the start.

Jeb has a really clever way of explaining intricate and monotonous tasks with enthusiasm and excitement.

Prospecting to most is viewed as a necessary evil but to be honest it’s the majority of sales. Getting that meeting, getting that call, getting that dinner reservation is everything.

Most sales people “have a way with words” or love to interact but without the ability of getting to the interaction you have nothing.

Prospecting is easily the most underrated and under-taught aspect of the sales gambit.

How can you overcome and objection or get to the yes if you can’t get through the hello?

Of all the prospecting books out there this one encapsulates the most strategies, walks you through the mindset needed, and gives the most fundamentally sound advice of any on the shelf.

I’m thinking we just became best friends…

I genuinely loved this book.

So much so I read it and a few years later listed to it again to see how much I’ve come along.

I remember my first time through, all of the acronyms kind of crossed my eyes around chapter 12 but as I continued on my sales journey I began to pick them up one by one.

The best part about this book is that it’s all encompassing.

The fact that you don’t single any one method out and encourage your reader to develop a Swiss Army knife of sales skills and to keep striving to get bigger, faster, and stronger is not just encouraging but inspiring.

You don’t degrade one other authors style or interpretation and quite frankly that’s refreshing.

If you say you are the greatest salesman who on earth would want to buy from you?…. Anywho-

“The sale isn’t made by what you say it’s what you hear”

is one of the most fundamentally brilliant passages I’ve heard in quite some time.

It’s not about 2 ears 1 mouth it’s about having natural flowing conversations that allow the other human being to exist and be heard.

There is a natural ebb and flow to human interaction and if you just put your own wants and needs aside for a second

- not just your sales interactions but your life in general will become better, more robust, and quite frankly more fun.

Real recognize real.

You want to become a “trusted advisor”.

They don’t have to “like” you but they have to trust you.

No one will be vulnerable and open up to someone they don’t TRUST.

Selling the GAP is also referred to as selling the delta and or closing the delta.

What’s funny is I said the challenger sale was consumed by solution based selling and it was… it’s called Gap selling.

Name dropped the great Chris Orlob, nice.

No wonder he can’t fit his head through a doorway. Waka waka

The your the customers b$&@! section was like the rated R Jeff Fox worthy/ Bill Engval bit 😂

I loved that you encourage to express confusion during clarification, people are so scared to look foolish they don’t understand that ‘real’ is powerful and flows more naturally, it won’t actually feel like overcoming an objection

Please… make this make sense?!?

Much respect for using the skiing example, great idea- missed something you couldn’t see and it failed.

That’a show business baby! ✊

Besides kinda sounding like a sane Joe Rogan I genuinely enjoyed your discourse and found this book to be not only one of the most influential sales book I’ve listened to but also one of the most entertaining.

The title is misleading

The challenger sale has basically been absorbed by solution selling over the years.

This is a book that was written coming out of a recession so it should be relevant again…

The thing is this is an advanced sales technique and you must have a firm grasp on the basic fundamentals of selling.

Like years of being good at it.

The title should really be called challenging the status quo or something of that nature.

Theres not an ounce of bully tactics involved but I am shocked that you had to go to Asia to insert the “word” respectfully…

I’m assuming you were going for “disruptor” you rascals.

This train of thought will be detrimental if you skip the warmer step, you are there for a reason, acknowledge it/solve it/ take a HARD RIGHT TURN

You marketing materials got you in the door now your research allows you to dance.

I had a sales manager say this was the book he would recommend, he sucked real real bad so I think all he actually read was the title.

I literally just asked him questions from the book and he balked so it was like using his own hands to slap him in the face like you would do to a little brother and it brought me great joy.

Anyway, party on Wayne!

Was easily my favorite wrestling move…

This book was brilliant, really well done, and he did a phenomenal job interpreting the books and remaining neutral as much as possible.

The part when he talked about these books being passed down by history’s best storytellers who of course would have embellished them made me want to listen to every word.

We are those who wrestle with God out of necessity…

My favorite part of the book was when he spoke on not speaking up when you know something is wrong and being forced to live in Hell on earth.

That one gave me the Goldberg Spear to the Soul!!!

This book was amazing on many levels (rimshot)

The way it walks through the different levels of consciousness with such detail and description was kind of amazing actually.

Towards the end the truth and reality really became prevalent in the descriptions.

I would strongly recommend listening/reading the previous texts to fully understand and comprehend the things mentioned in this book.

This book was very enlightening… (crickets)

“He who has learned how to die-

Has learned how to stop being a slave”

How are you just gonna drop the mic like an absolute savage like that playa. Good $&@&

This book has the same syntax of the 48 and 33 but delves a little deeper on some of the psychological pretexts of human nature.

It was a lot of fun and really made me think that Robert Greene at a cocktail party would turn into chaos.

Like he would be the Hannibal Lector or the charcuterie tray, of this I am sure.

I’m a fan.

Got another one of his in the Que.
