Great story. Great narration. A fun listen … MKA is the best writer. Her writing just flies, it’s not stilted nor does it feel like it’s written for a 7th grader. Can’t wait for the next one. And if you haven’t already…. Go back and listen to her earlier book in the Callahan Garrett series starting with Every Crooked Nanny. A treasure trove of great stories and characters!

This book is so great to listen to. It’s pure Dolly.... and hearing her thoughts... how her songs come about. Nice thing is you can listen to it in spurts as the chapters are short and lends itself to a great listen in the car or around the house if you can’t listen for long periods of time.

It's another great read from my favorite author. It's a little different flavor but I really liked it. Good story, characters you like and a few twists and turns. My only problem is that I have finished listening and I know it will be a long time until the next one appears. I highly recommend it...a great summer read.
