Was just ok
Revisado: 05-09-23
Honestly this book was a let down. The first two where awesome and engaging but this one droned on and was filled with a lot of fluff. Years where skipped over in order to describe the aliens trip just to be summed up in a paragraph after the book ended. Characters built up so well where just tossed away. It felt like the book had to be rushed to finish but also needed a high word count for the printers. Very disappointing.

Not the best
Revisado: 02-24-23
This is one of my favorite series so I was pretty sad when this book did not live up to the previous ones. It was quite boring and very predictable. I never felt like I couldn’t stop listening like with all the other books. I noticed many small errors in the story like a character being dressed as man and described as how much of a man she looks like then giving a passport to a cop with a girls name and they don’t even second guess it, spent time describing court putting on big boots but a few lines later he kicks off his tennis shoes. Love the series as I said and I’ll listen to the next one but if it’s as bad as this I’ll probably move on. The whole thing felt like it was taking headlines from the news and adding fluff to them and then forgot to edit afterwards.

Awesome series, weak ending
Revisado: 12-28-22
I loved the whole series, it did kind of get slow and a bit repetitive in the middle of the books but the writing was still engaging enough for me to continue. Knowing it was coming to an end I was waiting on the edge of my seat for what was to come but it just got weird. I won’t post spoilers but honestly the wind down to the end and the end itself seemed like a let down, characters that where built up the whole time where just left hanging. I don’t know, very anti climatic and almost a bit of a hand wringing of the series. I would still listen to all these again and will for sure get more books but maybe next time listen to the early readers, they where correct from what you stated in your notes about the ending.

Loved the book but for some reason this book had quite a few audio errors where it would repeat lines every once and awhile. Loved it either way though.

I wasn’t too sure that I would be interested in this series but I am so glad I gave it a chance. Easily in my top 5 books/ series. It will give you chills and maybe even some tears. The narrator could not have been better for this. I can’t recommend this book enough. Sit down, listen intently and get ready to DIVE DIVE DIVE!

Historia
Before he was the Gray Man, Court Gentry was Sierra Six, the junior member of a CIA action team. In their first mission, they took out a terrorist leader, at a terrible price. Years have passed. The Gray Man is on a simple mission when he sees a ghost: the long-dead terrorist, but he's remarkably energetic for a dead man. A decade of time hasn't changed the Gray Man. He isn't one to leave a job unfinished or a blood debt unpaid.

Decent
Revisado: 02-22-22
I think this is probably my least favorite one so far. It was entertaining and ok story but the back and forth timeline every couple of chapters just made this book feel like a filler. There was some interesting back story and all but doesn’t feel as well done as the rest of the series. It’s half prequel half fill until the next story. All in all I would still recommend but it’s not an edge of the seat thriller by any means.

In the far reaches of the solar system, the outer planets - billions of miles from Earth, unknown for millennia - are being settled. Neptune, the ice giant, is swathed in clouds of hydrogen, helium, and methane and circled by rings of rock and dust. Three years ago, Ilona Magyr’s father, Miklos, disappeared while exploring the seas of Neptune. Everyone believes he is dead - crushed, frozen, or boiled alive in Neptune’s turbulent seas.

Ok
Revisado: 11-19-21
Decent story but the whole thing is a feminist novel. Constantly bringing up men and how chauvinist they are. It was annoying how often it was brought up. The story bounced around and left a lot of detail out on many aspects of the journey. All in all it was ok but I won’t be continuing the series if there is one.

I really enjoyed the premise of the story abd the begging was awesome. Once it got to the middle I feel it was slightly less interesting but still a great listen. The ending was not quite what I was expecting but all in all I think it’s worth the listen.

Historia
In the 25th century, humans have conquered space. The advent of faster-than-light travel has opened up hundreds of habitable planets for colonization, and humans have exploited the virtually limitless space and resources for hundreds of years with impunity. So complacent have they become with the overabundance that armed conflict is a thing of the past, and their machines of war are obsolete and decrepit. What would happen if they were suddenly threatened by a terrifying new enemy?

I’ll admit I was hesitant at first as I wasn’t too sure about the narrators voice. I have it about twenty minutes and next thing I know I’ve binged the whole thing. Fun listen and I recommend if your into space adventures.
